Good mornin everyone! Hope this day finds you doing well.
Not much on the docket today for me. I'm in a lot of pain so that's a good thing.
I sent a question in to my neurosurgeons office and found out that the doctors office that did my nerve conduction yes is two months behind on sending results over. They have however sent in a referral to a doctor in Lubbock. I am hoping and praying that it happens sooner than later as I'm pretty miserable. That and very tired. Same story different day lol.
QOTD: If you could have one thing free for the rest on your life what would it be?
Mine should be no shocker...jump rings! That would be awesome!
B: JUST egg cup with guacamole and coffee
L: salad with rotisserie chicken and lite sweet onion vinaigrette
D: Haven't decided...may get some fish to fix
S: fruit cup, raspberries and ???

Good morning!
Is being in pain a good thing? Agree with you on sooner rather than later.
QOTD: Plane tickets!
Yesterday I got a nice decaf tea for free instead of ice cream. We split into teams of five and roamed a few blocks for a half hour. I'm counting it as exercise since it was triple digits and sticky.
Thankful to be working from home today. And for the rain! It's been raining for the past couple of hours and my fingers are crossed for a few more. Its been so dry there are huge cracks in my yard and the local critters are digging trenches under the drip from my AC. There was a frog in it yesterday.
Menu:
Water and all the supplements
Planted protein with fiber, yogurt
Another piece of the leftover chicken breast with onions and mushrooms
Think I have one more thawed mini meatloaf
Snacks of cottage cheese and crock pot chicken to meet protein goals
Have a great day!

today- i have to go to the tooth implant place at 3 to see if my implant took and if its ready for the crown top. we will see. but that involves numbing and cutting my gum so not thrilled.

G'morning all!
Yesterday wa**** the ground running for me, work wise and personally. I had noticed my passport was going to expire in Sept so I had made a note to send it for renewal as soon as we got back from Costa Rica. This way I'd have a 8 weeks window before my next trip to Italy. Did everything on Sunday and UPS next day air on Mon. I get an email yesterday from UPS they can't deliver. My heart dropped to my feet. I call and they say we can't deliver to PO Boxes. Duh? Why didn't you tell me when I mailed it? Their solution? Call the passport agency and have somebody come and pick it up from UPS office in Philadelphia. Are you nuts? Since when the passport agency that barely picks up the phone would send out somebody to pick up my passport? Ugh! So they are returning it to me (hopefully I should get it today) and I need to mail it out again this time with USPS. Every day that goes by it gets more risky for me to get back my passport in time, because they say now the average expedited renewal is about 5-7 weeks.
OK, let's get distracted by alcohol. I'm not a huge wine or hard liquor aficionado, but give me a fruity drink where I can't taste alcohol and I can go to town and make a fool of myself. Here are some pics from my tropical fruity drinks during the trip. The top right pic with jalapeño in it was a jalapeño margarita; the spiciest drink I've ever drunk in my life. The waitress suggested it to me because she said I looked like somebody who could handle heat/spicy. It was strong but I had to show her that yes I can handle spicy. My lips were burning for two days, but I proved her right...because that's the kind of person I am.
QOTD: I second Marie, plane /trips.
My meals yesterday :
- Coffee
- Cauliflower thins and scotch bonnet cheddar cheese (grilled cheese sandwich)
- Fage yogurt w/strawberries, hb eggs
- Mex cauliflower rice + ground turkey
- E: cardio + weight
Happy hump day!

Yes, and other tasks too.
From what I see in the non profit world they are no longer that big on spending money on events/conferences, so I help out with presentations, media outreach, keeping track of outside investments, etc. It's something to keep me busy and prevent my mind from going into atrophy.
