What's on your Tuesday menu?
Blue/ black on the toe is not a good sign. If I have any issues like that, soaking the foot in a warm water with a lot (and then some added) backing soda can pull the toxins out. Just saying.

Yay on the weight loss! Boo on the pain and eye issues. At least the eye issue is an "easy" fix.

Happy Taco Tuesday,
Yesterday was spent with about 6 hours in the car as we delivered DD's 1989 truck back to the mechanic (3 hours one way) to fix again! Otherwise, I had a nice weekend. We did go to the lake on Sunday to meet up with my sister, BIL and their kids (growns up kids). DS got lots of time behind the boat knee boarding. Me and DD mostly enjoyed the boat ride. My only complaint with the weight loss is my cold intolerance. I am cold all the time and the thought of jumping in a lake that is 68 degrees is off putting. I had planned on lots of swimming but only jumped in the lake once to cool off. I got right out. DD and I did do a short paddle. Overall, very relaxing day and always great to see family.
QOTD: I would say tacos-any type (no organ meats or weird meats like eyeballs ).
Accountability: Extra Chick Boom Pop kettle corn-I need to not buy anymore once the bag is out
B: triple zero greek yogurt, collagen, keto granola, strawberries, cold brew with half n half
L: Summer salad with chicken, poppy seed dressing
S: protein frosty
D: Lettuce, cabbage, bell pepper, chicken, sesame ginger dressing
S: 4 squares sf chocolate, 100 cal bag popcorn
E: 60 min Inferno Pilates
Have a terrific Tuesday.

G'morning all!
Mel, congrats on the weight loss!
Well, we are officially empty nesters again; both kids left for college and work. Jim, to answer your question about how to do as empty nesters it's hard, especially at the beginning. I kept going into their rooms, touching their stuff, and missing them like heck. But slowly you get the hang of it as a couple again. You plan activities without having to convince kids to go with you, or go back to restaurants the kids didn't like to go. In short life will go on and in some cases it gets even better just the two of you.
QOTD: before WLS surgery I loved burritos; nowadays I stick to fajitas or street tacos, and leave the shell behind eating only the innards.
I plan t get back on my IF schedule today; yesterday was DS's last day at home and I went along with whatever he wanted to get.
My meals TODAY :
- Coffee
- HB eggs & tuna
- Jello, Fage yogurt w/strawberries
- Taco Tue (either with cauliflower thins or just the innards)
- E: cardio + weight
Happy Taco Tue!

Good morning! Great job Melody!
Late to the party this morning, but I took the opportunity to open up the whole house while it's cool out. It's so stuffy in here. Too may humans and dogs and cooking and we haven't opened a window or a door for close to 10 days. Blech. I'll probably have to close everything up by noon, but right now I'm sitting in front of an open window enjoying the fresh "airy air". Much better than stale air.
Did great on food yesterday. Came right in just shy of my max cal goal of 1200. Not enough fluids. I'm battling even getting water in with the gastritis. Weird that I can eat most things, but can't stand fluids right now. I did get the massage. I went for a traditional Thai massage. She walked on me and used her toes to crack my back and my move my ribs and used her pointy elbows and fingers to get in and break up knots. I did not love it, but I am moving more freely today. I don't think I'll run back for another one real soon, but I do think it was worth it.
QoTD: Fried Beef Tacos. All day, any day. Now I can barely finish one with like a 1/4 refried beans. But it's still my favorite thing to eat.
Menu
B: leftover shrimp, tomatoes, fresh corn with a little cottage cheese
L: leftover chicken tender, 10 pop chips, 1 tbsp Elote street corn dip
D: TJ's buttermilk brined 1/2 chicken, gratin potatoes, broccolini
Peace Everybody!

When I had a Thai massage I didn't get any of those things. I even told her she could go deeper. The therapist used alot of joint movement, change of body position, some acupressure. I really enjoyed it, was not at all painful. She did not walk on me!

Qotd - green chile anything! Also, one of the restaurants here made jalapeño poppers stuffed with peanut butter and they were so good, now I make them but also wrap in bacon (extra protein, lol).

That sounds heavenly. Jalapeno poppers with PB, sounds like something I should try.
