That is exciting. I remember when I closed on my house and the money to settle kept getting higher and higher. I cashed in some 401K's and paid the 20% tax but they ended up putting me in a higher tax bracket and I was $12,000 short that year when April 15 came around. I was not expecting that, but hadn't thought it through.

I feel like that meme on most days I leave work to go home! Not that my work is stressful, just happy to do other things.

This weekend I plan on going to visit my sister at a local lake she is camping at. Every year her family plus various friends travel over from Seattle area for a group camping trip. Each year I either try to camp, stay in a hotel close by, or spend a day visiting and playing on the lake. They usually bring their boat, but they have purchased a large 5th wheel trailer, was planning on buying a second truck to pull the boat but I am not sure if they did. Anyway, I will take my kayak and DD's SUP for play close to shore. There will be swimming and general relaxation. Other then that we will do some prepping and cleaning on DD's 1989 truck. DH wants to change the shocks this weekend (usually an "easy" chore turns into a long drawn out chore). Monday I have to drive the stupid truck back to the repair shop since it is still having a few issues (the last time it wasn't corrected despite putting in a new fuel pump).

I really enjoyed my inferno pilates class with weights and bands. I could really use the muscle toning aspect. It was super sweaty and I was really feeling the glute work with the bands. However, I didnt realize they charged $5 for the use of the weights, which I think is BS since it should be included in the price of class (I am paying $150/mo for unlimited classes-thats a hefty monthly fee for working out but worth it since I enjoy). I will most likely bring my own weights to the next class since we only use 5-10# weights so not a hardship to bring. No thanks to the extra charges.

QOTD: cleaning the shower since it requires get down on your knees scrubbing. We usually let it get too far along so it requires a "big" clean. Anybody have any short-cuts on this job?

Accountability: Awesome! Really wanted to dip into the Chick Boom Pop but resisted the urge

B: triple zero greek yogurt with collagen, raspberries, keto granola, cold brew with half n half

L: Summer salad with chicken, poppy seed dressing

S: protein frosty

D: another salad asian vs. summer

S; 4 squares sf chocolate, 100 cal bag popcorn

E: 60 minutes walking.

Have a great weekend. No new pics to post today.

Sounds like you have a busy weekend coming up. Good luck!

I am not ashamed to admit the use of magic erasers in my cleaning of the shower/tub combo. I have an older house and hard water on top of it. I tend to scrub a little most days but that doesn't stop the hard water buildup. Vinegar and magic erasers make bathroom cleaning much easier for me.

I'm with you on the shower situation! But I have my own bath and hubby has his own. It's easier to manage with just me. He cleans his own bath.
