I know you are obsessive about the windows, but getting them done professionally has really been a big help to me. I can no longer do it on my own and hated looking at streaked windows.

I broke down and hired a professional to do the windows this year just before I retired. I will give up bottles of wine to save to do this again every year. The job they did makes all my labors look like a 3rd grader. They still shine after nearly 6 months!

Good morning! Happy Fri-Yay! It's going to be a long chaotic few days work wise as both my team members have Covid and have to be out until at least Tuesday. I am worried for them since both have young kids so I hope they are all okay. We are going to a comedy show tomorrow night with my sister and BIL so I'm looking forward to some laughs. I am also hoping to be able to work a bit to ease the stress next week but I have to wait for reports from another department before I can do my part. Trying the self talk that it'll all work out.

I've just to determine how hard I want to push to get checks done Friday. Technically we have until Monday since the 20th is Saturday and now one of the team members is out until at least Friday. Decisions to make.

Good morning. Well, I feel off the perfect week of food wagon last night. Not by much, but enough that I have to own it. I managed through lunch at the restaurant, but then we took our little French themed outing back home and had the husbands join us for champagne. Then it was sort of what could we pull out of her cabinets and fridge to feed us and then my husband ordered pizza. Twice accidentally. LOL. So we got two delivered orders totally 5 pizzas for 6 adults. I did not overindulge in the pizza. But I did with the snack foods she put out. Back to it this morning!

Today the brown dog is supposed to get his stitches out. Yay to that. The cone collar should be gone and no more jabbing it into our legs or scratching it down the side of the kennel in the middle of the night. We are more excited then he would be if he understood what was happening. And then maybe a couple chores before the weather gets really hot by lunch time. We are in the low to mid 90's with fairly high humidity again today. UGH. I just want some nice crisp air to clear out the house with. No big plans this weekend. In fact, I am technically free after the vet appt until Wednesday at lunch. I need to find things to do fill the time.

QoTD: I won't vacuum. My husband insisted on a canister style, vs an upright and I told him I would not use it. And I don't. So he's in charge of all the vacuuming.

Menu:

B: Left over rockfish and tomatoes

L: TBD: if we are out, maybe a shrimp taco salad bowl

D: same as my plan for yesterday that went awry. Shaved beef philly cheesesteak sandwich (bowl for me)

photos are for you fisher(wo)men out there! My buddy is in Alaska fishing and I'll be eating these things next week when he gets back. 1st one is a 36" Ivory King Salmon, and the second is his afternoon catch of Black Cod.

Peace Everybody! Have a great weekend.
