I am with you on the chores. Also I hate making the bed in the morning. I am alone, so have to empty the dishwasher myself. I set a timer before I open it. It usually takes five minutes and everything is put away including the knives, forks, and spoons. I very rarely mop floors anymore, i let the iRobot mop take care of that. I do clean next to the baseboards or other areas where the robot does not always do a great job.

I have Eufy sweepers on each floor that come out and sweep every morning at 8:00 AM. I cannot believe the amount of dust and cathair that they pick up each day. The one in the basement also gets any cat litter that the cat tracks by the litter boxes.

I just want to say that sounds like a great automated setup! I have the one Roomba that's automated for every night and sometimes I chuck it in a separate room. My house is oddly shaped where half is higher. Since Roombas can't climb steps I just pick a space. And haven't caved to an automated mop since I have so many different floor types. Plus rugs. Sounds like what you have is a huge help!

I have an iRoomba in my basement and main floor. The basement one often has a navigation problem since it tends to get stuck under furniture. The main floor roomba is smarter, does not often get stuck but sometimes doesn't dock correctly. I love them for the daily vacuuming, especially with dog hair.

I want Rosie from the Jetsons to clean my house! I need iRobot in my life - especially considering my hubs refuses to let someone come in an clean.

Happy Fri-Yay everyone!

That sounds like a great weekend, Amy.

I was happy with how things went yesterday. I made all six of my attempts. My highest were 55 kilo snatch and 75 kilo clean and jerk.

I got a silver medal for being second in my age/weight. Of course there were only two of us, so in a sense it is a participation trophy. But in a sense it isn?t because you need one of each lift to be approved by the judges in order to finish at all.

Making all six lifts and the 130 kilo total is more important than the medal. To qualify for Nationals, I would need to improve my total by about 30 kilos. The good news is that I am already strong enough to do that, it?s technique and mobility that needs to improve.

There was no spray tanning. I leave for the airport in about 90 minutes. I won?t be back home until about 7:00 tonight.

No real plans for the weekend, it?s just me and my oldest, (Marilyn is at Star Wars Disney) but I think he?s going completely nocturnal.

QOTD: dishes

pictures are a post meet selfie and celebratory dinner.

Breakfast: bacon and eggs plus fruit

Lunch: at the mercy of the airport, hopefully pizza

Dinner: whatever leftovers Marilyn left

Have a great day all!

Congrats! Sounds like a success all around. You went and were able to complete everything you wanted. No one spray tanned you, and your celebratory dinner looks great. Safe travels home!

Yeah for you Jim. That is awesome. I been reading more about the meet and greet costume party and I am leaning towards Beach wear. Sounds much easier.
