Good morning and TGIF ~ I thought this week would never end but here we are - lets do this!! What's happening and what are your weekend plans?? I'm almost done with my work project, just waiting on one more report from IT then a final fine tooth comb review and SEND! Yesterday didn't go so well at first and I thought I wasn't going to make it, but it all fell into place. WHEW. If all goes well, I'm off at noon and have a pedi scheduled. I pray I don't have to go back to work to finish anything afterwards. My brain needs a break and the weekend is just the ticket. I plan on hiking tomorrow morning and not much else. Sunday is Robs day to pick and he said either pickleball or golf. My kiddo will probably come over as usual and Rob will BBQ or smoke something. I start school Monday - just one in person night class but I can't figure out how to access the book I paid for still. I will have to figure that out somehow.
QOTD - What is the one chore (or two) that you HATE doing? My #1 is emptying the dishwasher. It's Rob's job to empty. I'd rather let them stack or do them by hand then empty the dishwasher any day. I also hate mopping, I'd rather clean the bathroom than mop.
Accountability - awesome!
b- coffee, cheese and almonds
l - eggs w/peppers and mushrooms
d- chicken, beans and salsa
e - no - my back is still out of whack. Hopeful its better for tomorrows hike!
Have a wonderful Friday and weekend!!!!

Glad you made it through and hope everything goes according to plan for you today!
Happy Friday! I have two meetings today and a bunch of catch up. Presentation went well yesterday. Hoping for a quiet afternoon here as well.
A few things I'm happy about - I did 15 minutes on the elliptical yesterday! Got to start somewhere. No pulling or weirdness, so going to get an air purifier in there so I can work on getting in there more. The den is my "sacrificial" room in the house that doesn't get air conditioning. I keep the door closed so it doesn't cost more to cool the room. Maybe the heat is a bonus. I removed the last of the surgical glue and am pleased to share that nothing exploded, contrary to my illogical fears.
Going to get out a bit this weekend. I need to take the dogs for a pedicure and have some work to catch up on in the yard. Now that it's actually rained, it's a jungle out there!
QOTD - dusting. Definitely dusting. My house seems to be a dust magnet! I use air purifiers, a roomba, and vacuuming as defense but just can't keep up. And I dread dusting.
Today's menu
Planted protein x2
Owyn protein x1
Half a mini meatloaf- this one is kind of a cheat since it includes about a half tablespoon of mushrooms and onions
Ricotta bake
Crock pot chicken
Two pictures to share. My very playful pup and my version of a traffic jam on the road home. I'll take cows over cars any day.

I remember being scared to take my binder off, like my innards would come springing out or something.

Haha, if I could ship you all the cows around here, you'd be set for life! Ollie would love to make a new friend. He highly disapproves of computer time while working from home. His bribes often work for a minute.
For the veggies, you're right! I love and miss veggies. Just technically not supposed to have them for about another week based on my plan. Even if I can't hit the consistent portion sizes yet, I'm getting protein so it feels like I've earned the fiber. I ended up with 9 mini meatloaf cups so it's a lot to get through, even after freezing half. Cheers!

I still have that problem when cooking. I need to learn to half the recipes since there is always so much left overs.

Cute animal pictures. Cows always look like they would be friendly and cuddly.
