Ohhh! I forgot that one time the local news did show one of our group performances that we had done for a competition. Thanks for jogging my memory. Oh and just recently the dealership played a commercial that included video of when we surprised Em with her car. They were playing it during the highly viewed morning hours so I had quite a few sending messages about is being "famous".

Good morning all ~ Great photos!! I love Jeopardy, we watch all the time. I tried doing your penguin photo using my cat it was pretty funny, but I couldn't go through with it! I may sneak it in there yet. I'm feeling much better today. I worked in the morning, but put away screens for the rest of the day - except tv if you group the same way, but I don't. I did nod off, but no real nap. Slept in until 5:30 this morning. Today will be busy, but it's only a half day. Afterwards - I'm grocery shopping and home for the weekend. I don't have any real plans except to give my eyes a rest all weekend.

QOTD - In 8th grade I made the local newspaper for scoring a 150 in a bowling tournament, lol

accountability - none, I fed my tired ass so hard

b- coffee, cottage cheese

l - chicken salad

d- philly cheese in a bowl

e - no, opted to sleep - back at it next week

Have a great Friday and weekend!!

Mornin' All!

I may go biking this morning since I won't be getting any exercise tomorrow (will be in the Chicago area with my cousins working on family history) - plus it's supposed to rain this weekend to boot. Otherwise, I'll just be driving to Chicago this afternoon. I'm spending the night with one of my cousins - not sure what we'll do tonight, but we usually just sit around her condo and talk. Maybe I can talk her into getting out and doing something... I also need to go to this Mexican bakery before I leave to order my birthday cake (b'day is Sunday). I've been getting the same cake for the last three years because I love it so much. It's a tres leches cake decorated with peaches and strawberries. I may have posted a picture of it here last year or the year before - will check and post it if i find one!

those of you who've tried intermittent fasting - did you find it helpful? I was talking about my struggle with the 10 lbs I've gained since the pandemic started with the guy *****paired my bike yesterday. He spent several years as a fitness instructor and said a lot of his clients had luck with that. Maybe it's worth a try. It shouldn't be too hard because I'm rarely hungry until 10:00 or 11:00 - although since surgery I've been eating breakfast soon after I get up (after my coffee) because my dietitian said I need to - but, do I really? I can't do without half & half in my coffee, though (which I DO need right after I get up!). But since I'd be doing this for the reduced calorie effect rather than the better blood sugar, etc effect (and my levels of all that are already fine), I don't think that would be a problem.

QOTD: nothing that I can think of. I was in a local newspaper once when I was about 14 because I was the lead in a children's play, but that's about as "famous" as I ever got!

B: plain skyr with strawberry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: cantaloupe protein shake (vanilla protein shake blended with cantaloupe and ice)

L: bagged kale salad topped with 2 oz rotisserie chicken

rest of the day is up in the air because of the Chicago trip

I biked over to a coffee shop yesterday and passed this guy standing in the middle of the road. I don't know how long he stayed there after I left, but while I was there, he stood there and would not budge while cars were trying to pass him. So funny!!

boy - I have so many photos in my OH account that it was taking FOREVER to insert any old ones, so I had to re-upload this. I need to find away to delete old photos from here. I'm sure it's taking up a TON of space to boot!! Anyway, this is my cake from two years ago (I evidently posted it here - but again, couldn't insert what I posted previously because it was taking way too long - so I re-uploaded it). I'm glad I saw this because on the cake I ordered last year, they put this swirly thing (in white frosting) along the perimeter on top of the cake. I think I prefer it without the while swirly border. It looked too crowded with that on. Here's the one without the border:

have a great day, everyone!!!
