What's on your photo friday menu?

Ready to close out this week like a shark-cat, lol.

Happy Friday, we made it through to another weekend, yay us!

If I can escape the house this weekend, I have a 70s party tomorrow night...if I can't, I have some house cleaning and Netflix just dropped The Sandman so I'll be checking that out, otherwise, nothing big going on. Looking at my weekend calendar for the next few weeks, I can see all the "cramming to get everything in before fall" scheduling is well under way, lol.

QOTD - by request from Teenie, tell us about your 15 minutes of fame.

When my Jeopardy episode aired, there were viewing parties everywhere - my brother had one at his office since it aired mid-day by him; the three offices I worked out of most often had on site viewing parties, and one of my friends threw one for all my local friends that wanted to come, it was so fun.

menu today is

pb English muffin

jalapeno cheddar sausage

falafel with veggies and tatziki

Clio bar

my photos today are me and Alex Trebek and a selfie during one of my zoom calls that I thought was funny. Not all backdrops work for zoom, lol.

Have a great Friday and weekend everyone!

Jen,

Love those photos! And congrats on your time on Jeopardy. How did you do?

I feel your meme this week! First week back to work and a short one...still a struggle. I'm still working against low energy and told my boss yesterday that I was logging off early for lunch to take a nap. Fortunately, he's very supportive.

This weekend I'll still be catching up on work a bit. Will also be doing some backlog cleaning and some cooking. Will also check my measurements and see if anything has changed there. I'm still in "onion" mode and since I live in my skin it's hard to see some of the daily changes. On one hand, my clothes are much looser. Some of the shirts are now several sizes too big. Close to time for me to break out some more wardrobe things.

I've also decided to push back exercise another wee****il I can get a consistent handle on fluid intake now that I've got the pauses for foods. It's a battle to get in 64 ounces and I'm a bit dehydrated so don't want to add exercise other than walking on top of it.

Will head into the city Saturday morning for some light shopping and time out of the house.

QOTD - not much to report here. Maybe when I was a kid and won the regional spelling bee. I went to state. It was an experience since I couldn't have been more than 11 at the time.

Menu

All the supplements and tea

A boiled egg mixed with a little light miracle whip and mustard

Low sodium tuna mashed with a laughing cow cheese wedge

Cottage cheese

Nonfat Greek yogurt

No issues with any of the foods I've tried yet, so I'm ready to step up my menu a tiny bit! Yesterday I learned that I can eat more than an ounce of cottage cheese but not of boiled egg. And so it goes. No pic today...will work on that.

Have a wonderful day!

I think that I stayed with walking for several months or more until my energy level increased. Even with just walking it was tiring. I think it is smart to not add extra exercise until your energy level increases, which will occur as you continue to heal and increase the variety and amount of food you can eat. Smart to listen to your body's cues. You are doing so well, keep it up.

Spelling bee champ. Thats awesome. I can't even spell as an adult. I am lucky for spell check and sometime that doesn't even help. Also the exercise. I was not cleared to do more than walk for almost a month or 2 out. Did the surgeon clear you? I would just walk till you get used to your new you. Good luck.

Haha, always loved spelling and grammar. Somehow, it seems to become harder the older I get...

And yep, surgeon cleared me Monday for exercise, including weight lifting. The second only because I asked about it due to heavier things around my yard I've been avoiding. My manual officially says in this stage I'm supposed to be doing sweaty cardio 3-5 times a week now. Unfortunately for them, I don't have the energy for that, yet. I don't doubt it will get there but yeah, not rushing it. Thank you for the feedback! You guys are awesome.

Good mornin Jen and everyone. I've been up since 10. So today will be a by the seat of my pants kind of day. Especially considering the kids will be here around 9 to 10 hours.

Not a lot planned for the day. Other than watching kids and making chainmaille...oh and a nap or five. I can never stay asleep during a nap for more than 20 minutes. I was able to afford a rock tumbler this month. It's for tumbling finished pieces of chainmaille in water and stainless steel shot mix. It helps get rid of burrs and rougher edges. I had a little hobby one that I hated that came from a craft store. I never used it due to it being so loud and a light weight limit...it stopped working yesterday all together. So I got a decently priced one and for 60 bucks with taxes.

QOTD: there isn't much for me. I would say when I entered a photo in the tri-state fair and rodeo. It won best of show. I have never been on TV or anything similar. I "accidentally" missed school picture day in all of my years in high school.

B: JUST egg cup

L: black beans with a slice of bacon

everything else I have no clue.

my pics are of a nasty meme and two of my photos edited in a AI styler. Of which I am obsessed with.
