Good questions - It's my first conference and I probably won't do a costume TBH... If I do it will be something really simple

I adore TJ's and practically live there. If I had to choose only one store for the rest of all time - it would be TJ's. We are having the shaved beef tomorrow as philly cheese steak - his on a roll, mine in a bowl with onions, peppers and mushrooms - so good!

I got the shaved meat and one pack of Asian veggies with sauce and one pack of bell pepper and onion veggies. I split the meat into two packs and froze half. Did the Asian version last night and plan to offer Roger the choice of cheesesteak sandwiches or beef fajita tacos with refried beans for the second half! It was a lot of beef! Half the package and we were really full. Yum!

I do this with Aldi's shaved beef but I roast a portabella mushroom and stuff it in there and top it with cheese it is wonderful.

Sheila may have details to share when she gets back; I know she attended one of the last in person OH conferences. I am not sure who else was there with her.

My first one. I am jumping in with Jim and Marylyn and getting a flapper dress. Shelia has been before I think we need to wait till she gets back but I remember her in costume. They do have prizes and I hear they are good.

So I keep hearing about Trader Joe's. There's one just over two hours from here. There's also a Whole Foods about an hour from here where I shop very selectively. In your opinion, is Trader Joe's better? Specifically, worth the road trip to check out? I vaguely remember the chain from like 20 years ago in Atlanta but it was well out of my means at the time.

I prefer Trader Joes over Whole Paycheck any day.

I love Trader Joe's. You have to take your time and meander all the aisles. So many great freezer options and I'm sure we could all throw favorites at you. The quality is excellent and the pricing is very reasonable. But driving two hours each way? Maybe if I could fold in a fun thing on the trip or as part of a necessary trip. I for sure would pack a cooler with some ice packs. Hell, I take a cooler and ice packs if I have a few stops on my round trip of grocery shopping places. I feel like it reduces the stress of hustling through. I keep a soft cooler in my car, and only buy Roger ice cream at my last stop.

Whole Foods is way to bougie for me and very expensive. I rarely have moments of "OH MY GOD! I must have that!" there, like I do regularly at TJ's.

If you go, ask us for ideas!
