What's on your Wednesday menu?
I find that supplements can make me nauseous if I don't have something in my stomach. I use an app called Mango Health to take my vitamins and pills with. I put everything in and it reminds me to take them. Sorry you'll figure it out, but sometimes I can't figure out what causes the nausea, and I hate the suffering. I found out after surgery that I was lactose intolerant and couldn't do most of the shakes. If no one has told you try the Syntrax Nectar they taste really good and have whey protein isolate. The sample pack is worth trying.

Thanks for sharing! I hadn't heard of any of these things. I'll take a look.
I'm sure it will get easier with time. Just going to be some trial and error. Today has been fine but I've taken the supplements with a protein shake rather than water. Woo!

Good morning! Today I get to get a pedi and go grocery shopping! So excited. Haven't left the property since Saturday AM. Today, Roger has brown dog watch. The dog is doing as well as can be expected at this point in recovery. But until the stiches come out, we are mostly tied to him (or him to us). Not much else going on today. I cleaned the house top to bottom yesterday, including scrubbing walls and floor boards. That was my full exercise effort for the day. I behaved on food. While my mouth is definitely craving the wrong things, my stomach is much more content and settled when I make good choices.
QoTD: The best thing I ever had was a homemade hot buttered rum, which I drank sitting in the snow in front of the firepit on the deck of the cabin in Montana. Not sure I could recreate that if I tried, and hot buttered rum is no longer in my repertoire since both the butter and rum would kill my stomach. But oh what a memory. I really don't have any hot drinks I go to. I'm just not a fan of tea and coffee is forbidden to me in any format. I consider this a great sadness in my life.
Menu today...
B: left over turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
L: leftover turkey meatballs, edamame spaghetti and sauce
D: Roger is smoking a brisket, I'll have a few oven baked fries and some cheesy broccoli
Of course, I am going to TJ's today so, there may be a last minute audible!
Peace Everybody!

I remain thrilled that my program has no rules against coffee. Everyone around me is so very thrilled about that. It's really a health and safety issue (my health, their safety).
