Good Morning Jen and Menuers,

Wow Jen so surprised with being sick your still able to get your exercise on. That is impressive. I hope your throat feels better soon.

For me crazy here at work and I see no end in the near future. My job has not changed same one I been doing for 26 years it has just been made super complicated by a system that is not about time management. Something that took less than 30sec before take well over a minute now. I feel chained to my desk. None of the other departments functions are working correctly so I have customers that are mad that back orders are not shipping and billing is crazy. I only got 10 more years and I'm out. I may talk to a financial planner and see if I can bump that up.

QOTD: Coffee. I drink a dark roast but in the evening if I want to curb a craving and not take in a bunch of calories I have a Vanilla caramel coffee I am enjoying now. I do change it up seasonally though. I am sure after this is gone a pumpkin spice is on it's way.

Accountability: I had some Caramel Corn but it's empty so it will not be haunting me this evening.

QOTD: Coffee number 1, after that some sort of tea. After my morning coffee, I usually don't have anything warm. Even though I am in the AC it seems wrong to drink hot things when the weather is always warm. I envy you that have a fall, I have never seen the leaves change.... I have tried but missed the window each time. I didn't go further north than the Smokies, so maybe that's it.

Today it's the neurologist, I need to get a nerve study on my right foot and ankle for my foot drop. I went to the podiatrist yesterday for my foot drop and he pretty much said unless there was some sort of nerve preassure or entrapment on my mri etc. that he or my pain doctor could release I am pretty much stuck. He referred me for an ankle foot orthotics. Since I wear sandals all the time how is that going to work? I was not happy hearing that from him. He did say If it is the spine I may need surgery.

Menu: protein shake, fruit, salad and ribeye. Maybe coleslaw, I have cabbage to use up.

Hi all

Yes, generally too hot or too cold could irritate as well as caffeine. If my voice started rasping I would drink pineapple juice. I was told that would help clear the junk off them.

Project went pretty well over the weekend, have only found 3 issues which all but 1 have been resolved. I'm super glad.

I bought a TON of Victoria's secret, mumu, madewell, whbm, and untuckit shirts (mens) to sell so I've been super busy since yesterday after work organizing and listing it.

QOTD: coffee or hot almond milk with splenda... sometimes puka tea the licorice one

food today:

ummmmmm

I can tell you its lunch meat tonight with cheese. and probably sola bread

coffee, water, more coffee

really not sure on anything else

Hello to Wednesday, Hump Day!

Usual plan for the day: work, workout, visit MIL, then dinner out with my Mom. We are going to a happy hour in which the appetizer menu is half price. I have already looked at the menu online to make a good choice to make a dinner out of the selections. At first there was a lot of back of forth about where to go. I started it since her first selection was pricey. I admit that as little as I can eat I prefer not to spend a lot on eating out since, depending on the dinner selection, the left overs may not be eaten. It is different if I can share the entrée with someone. Anyway we finally settled on the place we are going tonight. Should be yummy dinner.

QOTD: I am not really a hot drink person but I would probably select a cup of broth or some tea.

Accountability: Chick Boom Pop kettle corn has been tempting me, extra handfulls of the popcorn.

B: triple zero greek yogurt with collagen, strawberries, keto granola, cold brew with half n half

L: Summer salad with chicken, poppy seed dressing

S: protein frosty

D: shrimp ****tail, dinner salad

S: 100 cal popcorn bag, 4 squares sf chocolate

E: 60 mins yoga

Glad you're feeling a bit better!

QOTD - a nice cup of any tea. I have a lovely chamomile for in the evenings that I haven't broken out since April but I'm ready for it.

Yesterday was a learning experience. I learned that taking supplements on an empty stomach makes me really nauseous. I learned I still have a lot to learn after spending over an hour yesterday evening waiting for the discomfort of...whatever to pass when I experimented with timing and evening things. I sipped water for an hour, waited 30 minutes. Ate just over an ounce of tuna, which took a half hour, waited 30 minutes. Took my evening supplements with enough water to swallow, waited 30 minutes, resumed sipping water. Less than an hour into sipping I had the worst bloated/pressure feeling. I stopped drinking and just...survived for the hour it took to subside. Needless to say, no elliptical for me last night!

Today's menu:

Brewed up a pot of decaf ginger peach tea

All the supplements

Nonfat Greek yogurt

The other half of the light cheese stick

More low fat cottage cheese

An egg

Couple of protein shakes

Going to back off a bit and embrace the fact that I'll still need the shakes for a while. Everything I ate yesterday seemed okay but I'm not sure what led to that hour last night. Good times.

Hope you all have a great day!
