Sounds like everyone is planning a party!
QOTD - yep. One of the teams I used to work with was huge ok karaoke. I swear she kept their business afloat. She can't carry a tune to save her life but boy, she owned it! Made me feel less bad about my renditions.
Met with my sleep doctor and my surgeon today. Sleep doctor wants to order another sleep study in a few months because the weight loss will affect my hypopnea.
My surgeon cleared me of all restrictions and moved me to soft foods. This means I can try to work in a bit of elliptical for exercise. It also means returning to work tomorrow. I had an interesting time comparing stories with others in the group dietician meeting, especially since two had surgery the same day. I feel very lucky about my recovery after hearing how difficult it was for some folks to get up.
In exciting menu news, I had one ounce of cottage cheese for dinner and am keeping it down with no issies! I'll be measuring and weighing carefully to try and prevent any early overeating issues. Had my two earlier protein shakes to meet goals and clarified with the dietician that it's okay to eat a few more times a day to try and get protein from food rather than shakes. I'm so excited for this progression and might bake some ricotta tonight or tomorrow. I start all of my vitamins and supplements tomorrow. Cheers!
