The first time I went to a line dance, I wore some knee-high boots that had high heels. They looked great with my outfit. I danced all night and the next day my feet and legs were so sore. After that I wore tennis shoes and as I got more serious with the line dancing (almost every day), I bought dance shoes that are more flexible and glide on the floor. It was great exercise and you don't need a partner to be on the floor.

I have never been able to sing. In 7th grade our class recorded a record. The nun asked me to just move my mouth but not actually sing. I have never sung Karaoke. I would be too embarrassed, no matter how much I drank. But I sing in the car all the time and learn all of the words to songs that I like.

Good morning and happy Monday!

I slept and read and watched a lot of the Great British Menu because it didn't require a lot of brain power over the weekend. Trying to get back into a routine this week although I'm still feeling yucky but much better than this time last week; although I did lose my taste and smell on Friday...since it didn't happen right away, I had thought I would avoid it.

QOTD - yes, many times, even sober!

not sure on the menu, lots of tea, coffee and water and I'm sure I'll get some food down but it's hard to plan when nothing tastes like anything.

Have a great day!

Ugh! Everything tasted like cardboard to me! That's how they figured out I had Covid. I was 100 percent anti-symptomatic other than loss of taste or smell. Mine lasted about 15 weeks. I hope yours is the more common week or two!

Feel better!

I just can't imagine not being able to taste! I'm glad you had a relaxing weekend and hope you continue to feel better.

It took me a week to loose my taste and smell as well. I am on Covid watch right now as I had an exposure yesterday at the bridal shower. The mother of the bride test positive last Thursday and they just informed her today. Guess I gotta test in a couple days to make sure. NOT HAPPY

Good morning! Jim, Roger is going to be so stoked he made the list! Woo hoo!

Beautiful day here, but I am housebound again. The dog is doing ok, but this is a huge recovery and are trying to not leave him alone at all for at least this first week. Yesterday I think I got in 350 steps for the day. Not my best performance. Today I might just walk around the outside of the house 50 times to get some movement. Roger is at an all day golf tourney. First Monday of the month. I don't dare mess with the first Monday of the month unless I have something extremely tempting to offset it. Like Paris.

QoTD: No. But I will dance to anything EXCEPT line dancing. I can never get my boogie to line up with their oogie.

B: cottage cheese and maybe a hard boiled egg

L: left over pork chop and salad

D: chili stuffed baked potato ( I eat like 2 ounces of the potato, Roger gets the rest) and a salad

Peace Everybody!

QOTD- Only with excessive alcohol on board. My song was Bonnie Raitt "I Can't Make You Love Me" not for the faint of heart...

House inspection is today, keep your fingers crossed there aren't any issues.

I'm checking on the flights for the OH conference. I'll let you know soon. Is anyone doing a rental car or just using the shuttle service to the airport?

I need to get back on the exercise train, it has been derailed, crashed and gone up in flames... but I'm hoping to resurrect it soon.

I have 2 beautiful pairs of cowboy boots in storage, I may see them sometime soon. I don't like country music and probably not coordinated enough for line dancing. But I did used to Square Dance years ago.

Have a great day everyone!
