Good Morning Everyone,
So far just a few people posting. Where is everyone? Where is our Queen Bee? The BBQ and line dancing sounded fun. I like to dance but rarely get the opportunity. Seems like only at weddings. I would love to go to the OH conference but already have an engagement that same weekend. Bummer, I would have loved to meet everyone face-to-face.
I also had a glorious weekend of family and relaxing. DH and DS came to Montana for the weekend, went home on Sunday since DH does not have job flexibility or the ability to work remotely like I do. He is a Nurse Practitioner for a cardiology practice, so he sees patients in the clinic or hospital depending on where he is assigned. Needless to say, he needs to be in person for his position. DD and friend started their fair job officially on Friday. They are selling fair entrance tickets. It is funny how the fair has positioned the booths, they have 3 in a row separated by about 50 yard, they are in the last booth so the customer traffic can be a bit sparse. They bring cards to play when it gets slow. But I think it is going well for them. My BIL/SIL have their own business, my SIL is going to pay the girls to do some filing while they are here, this they will start today. Saturday was spent visiting my MIL at her house. I played cribbage with her a bit, she loves to play card games. I will plan on visiting her more and playing more cribbage. Sunday, I woke early took about a 4 mile walk before it got ho****ched some barrel racing, went to Old Navy to buy some workout gear on clearance, some shopping, set off bug bombs at the old family house since I need to venture into the dark, dank basement to start clearing out stuff this week. My BIL/SIL have a Sunday dinner every week so I was able to spend some time with extended family plus my mom.
My SIL and I are trying out a variety of workout places and exercise programs. She has always exercised but has slacked off on strengthening and stretching exercises. Today we will go to a yoga class (not hot ) at a local fitness center to check it out. I am trying to be diligent about getting my exercise while I am here. Other then that I will do some work and get my nails done.
QOTD: Funny, someone else had recently asked me this same question. Sadly, no I have never done karoke, I dont think I have even been to a place when it was being done. I think it could be fun.

She went to an blacksmithing event and we haven't heard from her since. Not sure whether she has adopted a forge based lifestyle as an itinerant traveling iron worker or she just got busy with school and work.

Good morning everyone and Happy Monday,
Jim - sounds like the Western party and the line dancing were fun.
Decent weekend here. I went to Chinatown Saturday for the Chinatown Summer Fair. There was a bboy competition that I wanted to check out. It was a lot of fun. I also saw a musical act that I would never be a fan of. It was a performer named Kween who has a gaggle of backup dancers twerking. I did well eating at the festival. There wasn't anything unique being sold by food vendors so I took a pass. On the way out, I stopped at a Chinese bakery and purchased an individual Portuguese egg tart.
I have a monthly pain management appointment today and a couple errands to run so it should be a light day.
QOTD - I have very rarely done karaoke. I've always been drunk when singing. My go to song is Rappers Delight by Sugarhill Gang.
B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.
L: PP shake.
D: ??
S: turkey sausage stick

Good choice. We are going to see Blondie later this month.

Oh fun, I like Deborah Harry. I think "Rapture" is an underrated song and not given the recognition it deserves as a pioneering rap song.
I caught more of the Lollapalooza livestream this weekend. The highlight was Green Day doing a cover of Kiss' "Rock and Roll all night."
