What's on your photo Friday menu everyone?

It is typical for a weight stall in the first couple of weeks.

I make a protein "frosty" by blending a liquid protein drink (I use premiere or fairlife), 2 TBSP sf (for me flavor if choice chocolate or vanilla) pudding, 4 ice cubes then throw in the freezer until it is the consistency of a Wendy's frosty. To me it is like having yummy ice cream every day but I get my protein and not many calories. If I use vanilla flavored protein I add different flavoring like sf peanut butter syrup, root beer extract...the choices are endless.

The above recipe got me through the first few years. I used to love milkshakes and frosties and this was great. After about three months, I replaced the ice cubes with frozen unsweetened strawberries. The little black things on strawberries can irritate the pouch early out. Strawberries were good even with chocolate protein shakes. I also used to use frozen pineapple to get something like the Dole Whip at Disney. I still think the best tasting protein powder is Syntha-6 Vanilla Creamery flavor.

Ditto on the 3 week stall. It is legendary. There is some complicated scientific reason for it and it does end, but can be so discouraging. You have done wonderful. Enjoy all your success.

Oh boy, sounds like there are some very tasty recipes to be shared here. Thank you! I spent some time reading the recipe board for ideas, too.

Thank you for the advice. This stall shouldn't get me down too much. I do still track since I'm a daily weigh-in for accountability purposes, so I can see it moving. Cheers!

This gets a lot of people through soft foods:

But whatever you have it will seem like it flew by a year from now.

Thanks! I'll have to take a look at this for the next couple of weeks. Been working on what a soft food menu looks like to start and what it will take to supplement. Sounds tasty!

I'm in love with Highland cows - I went nuts every time I saw one (just got back from Scotland a couple of weeks ago). I bought a mug with a colorful abstract drawings of some of them on it - as well as a Highland cow stuffed animal (I haven't bought a stuffed animal in decades, but I love "coos" so much!!!

One of the places I kept my horse had some. I was totally fascinated, they are so cute.
