The straps were tight enough on top that wouldn't come off. I also chose a lower heel so that I could dance all night.

Hah! Not as spontaneous as you'd think. Up until last week I was doing 5 miles every other day which is about 8Km. I also jog in the woods so trail running which is harder than on flat surface. Add to that I am not competitive and couldn't care less about my PR time, planning on walking all the uphills, and you get me wog-ing at my happy pace the 10k wharf to wharf.

Good morning! I've been looking forward to this all week. I love putting your faces with names, and I am working really hard on connecting your screen names with your real ones. I might be a bit dense in this area, but I am getting there!
I did nothing yesterday. Not one damn thing. I watched my husband scrub the floors and do laundry and make the bed. I read, watched some tv, petted the dogs, took a nap. Ok, I did make dinner and clean the kitchen afterwards. Normally, the kitchen clean up is Roger's job, but I felt guilty after my day as a slug. I'm already on track for a better day today. If I can't talk Roger into a beach walk, then it's the pantry for sure. (That's going to be a big before/after photo op. Can't believe how bad my pantry is. So in the face of my "everything has a place/everything in it's place personality.)
QoTD: I do both the song thing and the to list thing. Very random, and I sometimes wonder what happened in the last 24 hours to trigger that pick in my brain. Today's is Jo Dee Messina's Heads Carolina, Tails California. I think I am on the 98th loop of it in my brain.

B: leftover chicken salad ( I used cottage cheese as the binder and lots of veggies)
L: not sure yet. If home, I need to eat some more pulled pork
D: Roger is smoking a "bourbon maple" tri tip. I'll blast a sweet potato in the air fryer and we have salad.
I've got an avocado I'm watching that I will need to eat in the next day or three. It's just waiting for me to stop watching it so it can go from too firm to ruined when I avert my eyes.
First photo, 4th of July 2019. This is this the picture that made me finally reach out to my doc and ask about surgical options. Photo two, the day before WLS. 200 pounds. I'm 5'3", and all that extra weight is clearly in my mid section. Weebles wobble but the don't fall downd. And last, yesterday. I am up 3-5 pounds over where I want to land right now. But this feels better than when I was 10 pounds under. I'll be three years out end of October, so I just keep tweaking trying to find the right balance.
