G'morning all!

Jen, that movie sounds great. Wish we could all see it. Knowing you I'm sure you can get out of your funk. That meme is me going to target. I need only one thing so I don't even take a basket but then I'm juggling at the cash register because my arms are full.

I had a great weekend. Friday anniversary celebration was so much fun and I danced my heart out. Sat we spent some time on organizing our outside space for guests arriving next week. Sun most of the day I was in SF, walking around at SFMOMA and then on the streets. It was a good combo of culture, food, sites to see and tons of steps.

QOTD: hmmm, getting out in the sunshine always helps me, or a good book gets me out of my head.

My meals yesterday :

  • Coffee & scrambled eggs
  • Curry stir fried chicken strips with string beans
  • Cold brew coffee, nectarine, quest bar
  • Skipped dinner
  • E: Rest day

Happy start of the week!

I couldn't wait and ended up watching it this morning while I worked on an article for work. It was so good; I will let you know if it gets general release...it would be great for the discovery channel or something like that!

That Meme is definitely me, I swear I only need a few things...

QOTD- I'm not good getting myself out of the dumps. I try not to wallow, but sometimes I can't help it.

I finally saw the Minions the rise of Gru yesterday, it was cute. I want the baby chick minion. I have a stuffed Stuart, so I imagine they will market the chick too, it was so adorable.

My tail bone is still complaining, I couldn't get comfortable in the movie, there was no position that made in not hurt. I'm hoping to get over this. So tired of the pain, I don't know how you handle it Mel this is probably nothing compared to what you are dealing with.

They are blowing bark next door and the noise is about to drive me insane. Hopefully they finish soon!

Need to find some work, so far nothing. I really need to figure this out, either get another job or something.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning!

I was 100 percent on target yesterday for all my protein and calorie goals. Yay me. Not going to be a easy today as we are taking our daughter and son in law out for an overdue birthday dinner at a lovely steakhouse. I'm planning on being extra well behaved all day to help cut down on the total calories. Other than that, I've got a foot massage in a bit and I'm doing laundry for the day.

That meme... Almost always me. But I've been concentrating on buying just exactly what I need for my menu plans, so that has helped cut down on impulse buying. However, I went into Sprouts on Saturday for fresh veggies and ended up with three kinds of fun cheeses in my basket that we really didn't need. But I love how long cheese stays for. It will get eaten for sure.

QoTD: Reading or food network tv.

Menu

B: 2 oz smorked pork and 1/4 cup cottage cheese

L: 3 oz boneless, skinless chicken thigh with a bit of feta and blistered tomatoes/green beans

D: They will have nice steaks. I will have a bite or two. I will probably order an app as my dinner. And there will be a few bites of the sides. But overall, I am pretty well behaved in a steakhouse because it's not my belly's favorite.

Peace Everybody!

Hi peeps. I've got ato find a way get on here early. I used to do it before I got out of bed, but hubby and I have a no cell phone before 6 AM rule now, and I'm usually up well before 6. Once I'm moving- getting onhere slip away from me. Its supposed to be wicked hot this week and my AC in my car conked out. Grrr... I've been adjusting well, except for when I get behind a trash truck. Not much going on this week, work home, repeat.

QOTD- to sort through the blah feelings-- counseling. Been doing weekly sessions for a while now and can't tell you how helpful its been.

Eats:

Greek yogurt, whole grain waffle

Plum/pineapple

roast chicken breast, wild rice & (homemmade!) french bread

will likely repeat the same for dinner...

Hello New Week and Menu Friends,

the meme is spot on. I even do that when I take the little hand basket.

I didn't get all my tasks accomplished this weekend. I plan on finish cleaning our travel trailer today to get it ready for sale. Yesterday. We took care of a hornet nest that had settled in one of the trailer roof vents. It had been there long enough to produce honey that dropped down into the trailer. Luckily it was on bedding that could be washed. Nonetheless it took a lot longer to clean since it needed to have the roof vent protectors removed then the vent cover broke due to sun exposure...anyway a simple task that should have taken 15 minutes took hours to perform. This no kayaking yesterday DD and I will go Tuesday after work since it will be nice and warm. This summer has been exceptionally mild in temperature. Today is overcast and cool.

it turns out that my ditties limp is from a torn ACL. Hoping that it heals on its own. She was prescribed a NSAID which seems to help her limp.

QOTD: Reading, sunshine, caffeine, exercise.

B: triple zero Greek yogurt with collagen and blueberries, keto granola, cold brew with half n half

L: summer salad, grilled chicken, poppy seed dressing

S: chocolate protein frosty

D: lettuce, carne asada, cherry tomato, bell pepper, yogurt ranch

S: 100 cal bag popcorn, 100 cal mini pb cups

E: 60 min inferno pilates

have a wonderful Monday.

Kind of funny, this meme. This is part of how I control how much I buy...only what I can carry! Must just be me.

QOTD- I make a pot of tea, spend time with my dogs or get outside. The connection with nature makes a difference.

Today's menu is water and as much protein as I can get in. Going to be a bit of a process to get to where I need to be but that's okay. Cheers.
