What's on your junior Friday (Thursday) menu?
Good Morning Jen and Menuers,
Well it has been nothing but crazy here at work and I am trying to learn but yeah it is crazy. I think I get if figured out then someone tells me that that portion of the system is not available yet. This has been in the works for 22 years it should be way more advanced than it is. I can put in customer orders and that is how i get paid so at least I got that going for me.
This weekend will be my family picnic that has been going on for at least the last 100 years. In my lifetime I only missed it one time and my husband has never missed it since he has been with me. The 3rd Sunday in July is sacred in my family. Now gearing up to plan a menu and cook. I have tons of Lemons and zucchini and I see many recipes for muffins and bread I am going to try. Anyone have a recipe with those items they are willing to share? I am going to do some with sugar and some with swerve. I'll let you know how it goes.

You bake a lot so you might already know this, but I didn't until I read it on a baking blog somewhere (and tested it when I made these); you don't have to try to chop the ginger super fine or anything; when it's grated and baked, it just kind of dissolves into the muffin...it's like magic. I thought it would be really stringy but no.

Good morning! I thought I did really well yesterday with my choices, but I'm up this morning. Argh. I will just be watchful today. I even measured stuff yesterday as I still do on occasion to make sure my eyeballs aren't leading me astray. We had a productive day in the manner of getting things restocked. Vitamins (why oh why are you so expensive?) groceries, wine, gas for the SUV (gulp!) etc. My lunch ended up being a single taco and it was yummy and I'm not ashamed of that!
Today is nothing on the books at all. So maybe today is the day I clean out the pantry?
