Good Morning! Happy Friday-Eve! I have a few meetings this morning that are leading up to a decent sized project. I'm excited to learn and grow more!!

QOTD: I may have already told this secret here but I just can't do Love Actually. I've tried so many times to see what the hype is and I just can't.

I thought everyone loved Love Actually but over the last couple of years, I've learned that is not the case. Not only have a lot of people never watched it, many that have don't like it! I'm still friends with all those weirdos though;-)

Good morning ~ I can see the weekend from here! It's been a good week though, I really can't complain. I have one meeting this afternoon and otherwise, the usual. Rob and I started a regular thing of walking the dogs when I get home. More steps for me so that is nice and they enjoy the extra walk. I'm so tired of being tired and uncomfortable so I am trying my best to form better habits to get back to goal. I miss feeling good/great! It's funny because I've been overweight my whole life and had no idea how it felt to be at healthy. Going from 309 to 150 was amazing, I felt great. But now that I know what that feels like, 220 feels just as bad as 309. I'll get there - I will never ever give up on that.

QOTD - Cross fit, haha. People try to talk me into going with them or joining this gym or that...especially one of my staffers who seems hell bent on changing my mind. It's NOT for me. Mostly because I like to work out alone and prefer calming meditative type exercise - hiking, swimming, yoga, Pilates - even running when I'm at a more comfortable weight.

l-chicken salad made with Greek yogurt - so good! on a bed of lettuce

d-Leftovers - the last of the brisket in the fridge (we still have half a brisket in the freezer) or chicken parm bake

Hang in there! You keep making changes and moving forward and you will be where you want eventually. You have the right mindset!

Lol on crossfit; I feel there's a definitely cult aspect to that....but you can say the same about many of the programs, I'm sure there's a cult version of pilates too!

I agree, consistency is key and is what usually gets me in trouble. I've made a lot of other personal changes, non-food/exercise healthy habits in support of the lifestyle I want to maintain. I feel better equipped to handle life's tough stuff without the emotional eating or drinking.
