Good morning ~ Happy Monday! Sounds like a fun and relaxing weekend! I had a really nice weekend. Golf was fun, it was a beautiful day. Lots of things planned, organized and cleaned. We smoked a brisket that took 2 days to get done! About 20 hours I think. It was an impulsive buy - smaller and not too expensive for once. No planning - we assumed it would be done for dinner Saturday, but it had other plans. We finally had it last night. Can I ask what the big hype is? I mean - it was really good, but I'll take Tri-tip over that pain in the ass any day.

QOTD - I still size up chairs in my mind. I still think I won't fit into the booth.

Do you have a smoker? I have a Weber Smokey Mountain that I don't use often but love. I also partook in smoked brisket this weekend but it was from a restaurant. I had long wanted to try a BBQ place called Chicago Culinary Kitchen. Too expensive at $18 for these two pieces but it was pretty quality.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.
