Oh, Shelia sorry for the sunburned lips. Of all people you should know better. I probably would have ended up in the same boat. But just wanted to share since you brought it up. My brother had dental implants that required his teeth to be pulled and almost 2 months of no teeth. It was miserable but he was grateful everyday he could wear a mask incognito. Especially at work since he works in retail.

The mask made up for it and he got his great smile back so all is good.

Good morning! We are waiting on discharge paperwork and away we go. I put Roger on a plane home this morning as I need to stay at least a while longer. Dad is doing well but getting crabby about being in here. Even his crabby is nice. Last night's forced hotel stay was wonderful. A 40 acre resort! 5 swimming pools. (All for $70 a night on last minute Hoteltonight!) We got checked in and then had a glass of wine and a charcuterie plate and then went to our room, got a second glass of wine and went and stood in the pool. I wish I had my phone with me. Half moon, palm trees, pool, decent wine. My son said a perfect evening in the desert is like Earth is hugging you. I could not have explained it better.

QoTD- yes as a youngster. Not since. I hate being hot. And on the subject of Turkey legs, our fair has upgraded to bacon wrapped smoked Turkey legs. Bacon makes everything better!

food. I don't know. I had some leftover bites from my charcuterie plate for breakfast. Hope to be home in time for pulled bbq pork and cheddar cheese for dinner. My belly really wants me to get back on routine. Definitely going to need to hit up the grocery store and get some Lisa belly friendly options at Dad's house!

wish us luck! Peace Everybody.

If you have to have an unexpected day at a hotel, that sounds like the way to go. Hope your dad gets to go home today!

I also love the meme!

Yoga went better yesterday but I am amazed at the lack of balance on one foot in just 2 weeks. How does that happen? I had to use the wall to complete some of the one legged postures that usually I can do. So depressing but makes me think I may need to add band work back into my routine to gain some strength. Work went well yesterday. Early start this morning with meetings, but plan to leave around 3:30 so I can get my daughter to her horseback lesson in time.

DD turned 16 in May. So we added her to our auto insurance (DS was added last year which raised our insurance to $599/mo). With DD added the insurance has increased to $750/mo. Needless to say I am calling my insurance agent to see if I can make some changes to the policy to reduce the monthly cost. Everyone said that auto insurance would increase when the kids were added but I had no idea how much. That is at least double of what we use to pay each month. The insurance agent is suggesting using a driving tracker which gives an automatic 5% discount. DH is adamant about not using it himself, I dont think he would be eligible for a discount anyway since he tends to speed. I am thinking about it (I wont lie and say I dont speed) but feel pretty cautious about being tracked. Has anyone else had experience with this?

QOTD: No I have not been.

B: triple zero greek yogurt with collagen, strawberries, keto granola, cold brew with half n half

L: lettuce, strawberries, blackberries, necatrine, chicken, poppy seed dressing

S: protein frosty

D: 4 oz chicken, coleslaw

S: 100 cal bag popcorn, 4 squares sf chocolate

E: 60 min walking

Have a terrific Thursday.

That seems an insane amount to pay for insurance. Have you shopped around?

I am going to make some changes to the insurance since we have pretty high liability limits on the vehicle. My DH likes to be well covered just in case. I have been telling him for while that we need to reduce those limits. Then I will check around.

I don't have AAA but I hear they do good. Maybe a good search on google can give you some quotes. Good luck.

It is very unfair how long it takes to develop a skill and how fast we can loose it - whether it's balance, running, core, all those things.
