What's on your Wednesday menu?
Good Morning Menuers,
This new system is crazy but I held it together and by months end It should be smooth sailing. For now I just keep plugin along. Today is busy day with work , last PT appointment and bible study. I'm a little behind on the bible study but I plan to go just for the fellowship and continue to get my reading in when I get a couple minutes. I'll catch up eventually.
QOTD: I love to Run Just wish my body would cooperate.
Accountability: I put that sugary salad dressing on the salad I had last night. I swapped out salad instead of chili dogs. I think I will throw the rest of the dressing away it is the one that is 100cals for 2 tablespoons. The neighbor gave it to us and I didn't want to just throw it out but I think it is time,

I know I just cant see spending 100 calories on 2 TBSP of salad dressing. Panera sells a poppy seed dressing (found in the refrigerated section of the grocery store-usually produce section) that is only 25 cals for 2 TBSP that is really tasty.

Good morning, everybody!
OMG, we got eaten alive by black flies yesterday. We were fishing offshore, so we packed for sun, meant to pack for rain, but didn't even think about bugs. All three of us wore shorts.
There were about 2-300 black flies in the boat and they bit our legs all afternoon from 12:00 to 6:00. I don't know whether they live out over the water or they followed us out but they were miserable. This morning I counted 17 bites on one side of one ankle and then gave up. Fortunately the bites are small and not itching at this point.
The irony is that we all bought fishing pants to wear for our hiking next week.
Between the four of us we caught to King and two Silver salmon. I will post our picture on Friday. I think the captains thought we were upset that we didn't catch much fish but it was really the bugs that bothered us. Sometimes you catch, sometimes you don't.
Today I have kind of a busy day - lifting with my coach this morning, I have to review something for work this afternoon, Crossfit at 2:30 and then we have happy hour tonight. It will be our last get together for a couple of weeks because of vacations.
QOTD: Crossfit, although maybe that answer is cheating?
Breakfast: Protein bar
Lunch: Roast beef sandwich
Dinner: I'm not sure if Marilyn froze the salmon or we are cooking it
Have a great day, all!

My son was saying he lives in Colorado now and isn't even used to misquitoes, never mind black flies.

Those flies sound miserable. Enjoy the salmon. Yum! I wish I knew how to make it better at home (spices, sauces, etc).

Good morning. Leaving soon to hopefully take Dad home from the hospital. Yesterday's long day was capped off with an excellent meal and I added an Old Fashioned I did not need. My friend kept commenting I wasn't eating much of anything, but I feel like I had amazing bites of everything. I was just tired, dehydrated and out of sorts. We all shared a bottle of wine, so I didn't go crazy on that, but I should have just skipped the ****tail. My rational brain knew that. The other side of my brain said DO IT! Why do I listen to that side? Oh. I had the chef's last name wrong. It's Conant. Food was really good. Waygu bolognese, anybody? also, it's really hot and dry here. I have no idea how people live full time in this heat. I really do not like it.
QoTD. I think yoga. But we all know I don't like exercise much at all. Oh! Riding my bike with gorgeous scenery.
food is no idea for breakfast or lunch. Pulled pork with bbq sauce for dinner. I'm hoping I make good choices today.
Peace Everybody!
