Be proud that you did the run. 5th place is not last place. You did awesome for only being back to running for such a short time.

Hello All,

I didn't get to posting last week while I was out of town. We got a lot accomplished on the old family home. We filled up a large flatbed trailer with junk and garbage but still have a few more areas to finish up. My DD and friend were able to run around and have fun while I worked at the house. They also got to meet up with a friend to ride horses on a couple of nights. I did really good with eating since I had brought food with me. I also did a walk most days to get my exercise in. We did go to my BILs cabin and did a 4 hour horse ride into the back country. Very beautiful terrain. My butt was definitely tender the next day though! We ended up coming back home early since my SIL was sick with COVID (we stay with them when we visit home). The 4th was pretty lowkey as it rained early in the day but DD and I did go for a short hike. We skipped the fireworks display.

today is the last day of vacation. We are going to Elvis, the movie. I have heard good things about it. I will also restart my yoga since I am 14 days post-op from my gallbladder. I am looking forward to that workout.

QOTD: How much more weight are you going to lose. I also haven't shared my surgery with my extended family because I don't think many people understand that it is only a tool to assist with weight loss. I think many believe it is a "magic pill" that automatically makes you lose weight without effort. Just didn't want to deal with that.

B: triple zero Greek yogurt with collagen, strawberries, keto granola, cold brew with half n half

L: lettuce, strawberries, blackberries, nectarines, grilled chicken, poppy seed fressing

D: same as lunch

S: protein frosty

E: 60 minutes hot yoga

Have a great Tuesday!

Yes, it was a 5K. This is the first one I ran, and I didn't medal in my age class. I did have fun and I beat my guy friends who ran in the same age class, so I got those bragging rights, I guess.
