What's on your Friday and welcome to July menu?
Growing up in the Northeast, we would swim in high 50's. But last year in Florida, even low 80's felt chilly sometimes.
Overall, I have the swimming readiness of a 7 year old. Generally I'm going in no matter what the cir****tances.

Happy Fri-yay, y'all!
If the weather cooperates and the fog goes away we are in for a good long weekend. DH has signed up for a surf contest on Mon. I think I offended him by laughing at the title of the contest. THE LEGENDS! I said why the legends. He said because we are the over 40 surfers. So I asked "you guys call YOURSELVES legends?" Not the younger surfers who are supposed to look up to you? You poor older surfers gotta get your satisfaction by calling yourself a legend? He walked away pouting. Such thin skin.
QOTD: very related to above, the amount of surfboards in this house. At the beginning of our marriage I put my foot down and said we won't be using surf boards as wall decorations in the living room or around the house. So that was a win for me. But when we remodeled the game room into craft room he lobbied for a surf board deck in there. He kept saying it's easy to move and it won't be in your way. Yeah, right. With all the surf boards on it you can't move it so now I have no access to the closet in that room. Since DS has gone his room has become a second room to put surf boards in. I hate when kids' rooms become storage but DH keeps saying he'll fix it before he comes back. You would think why not in the garage? But nooooo! Surf boards are very sensitive to temp change and need to be coddled and be in a safe environment.
My pics are of my favorite food item: cheese. On that map pecorino sardo (from Sardinia) is my absolute favorite cheese.
My meals yesterday :
- Coffee
- Tuna + hb eggs
- Chomp stick, quest chips
- Chicken masala, chick peas salad
- E: cardio + weight
Happy Fri-yay!

LOL at the men calling themselves legends, that's hilarious.
Also, there is no weird time for cheese, cheese is an all time thing. Have you tried this polish cheese called Oscypek? I had it in Krakow and if I could get it here, I would pay a fortune. It's so smoked when we saw it at the market, we thought it was wood. I think it's my favorite cheese ever but no cheese is bad.
