Good morning!

The ABBA review last night was fun. The people watching was way better than the music. We had a great time, a glass of wine and I ate a meatball and one small piece of bread for dinner. So not too much damage was done. I did get a 2.5 mile walk in yesterday and added 5 trips up the stairs (50 count) after dropping the girls off at camp.

Today should be fun. We are dropping the girls at camp, then I have a pedicure and need to run to the grocery store. I need to make ahi ceviche and a bowl of guacamole and grab a few snacks. Going to pick the girls up early at camp and then spend the afternoon/evening on our friends Catamaran. These are new neighbors, and we've never seen the catamaran, but they just sort of let it drop when I was asking about bathroom situations that it's a four state room/four head cat, so it should be huge. They are anchored off Glorietta Bay here and they have two girls around the same age as ours. So it should be a busy, active and very fun day. I'll be doing lots of sunscreen today on me and chasing the girls with the spray can.

QoTD: I don't think I have an single odd thing in the fridge!

Menu:

B: roasted chicken and cottage cheese

L: not sure

D: the neighbor is doing hamburgers and I am doing the ceviche, so probably a bit of both, no bun.

Peace Everybody!

Good Morning Jen and Menuers,

Boy I wish I was retiring. I can not wait till it is my turn.

I got to practice on this new system today. I want to run to GFS to see if they have some natural casing hotdogs for the 4th of July. My picnic is known for it's awesome chili dogs. My Dad was great at making the chili and before he passed he gave DH the recipe so it lives on.

Tonight I am going to a new restaurant that is supposed to be on the High end. My bestie flew in this morning so 4 of us gals are getting together to celebrate her birthday that was last week.

QOTD: There is a blue plug in there that came with the fridge. I don't know what it plugs but I keep it is in there.

Accountability: thought I did good but scale said different. The dressing I used for my salad was toxic. It was 100cal for 2 tablespoons so that could have been it. (neighbor gave it to us and been asking if we tried it so I had to) I also finished the rest of the bag of the dill popcorn I love from Aldi.

I'd be more inclined to think it might have been the sodium in the dressing, but then again, if you dumped a quart of it on your salad, it could definitely be the calories in it... (I don't literally mean a quart, I hope you know!!). But those bottled dressings are loaded with sodium.

Sometimes people laugh because my refrigerator and freezer have organizing shelves and bins with labels like snacks, pickles, dressing, fruit, meat. My sister helped me put groceries away one day and just put things where there was room, not into their assigned spaces. She told me that is how normal people do it.

Forgot to ask, Jen - Built granola bars?? I'm dying! I looked them up - usually they have an actual picture of the bars, but not these. How are they?

They are ok. I like the coating on the berry ones, but they are not as good as the puffs or the regular bars. I don't think I will buy them again after this box is gone!
