What's on your Tuesday menu, menu people?

Good mornin everyone.
It's not been a great morning. I'm having to cut my pain pill in half to make it last until possibly tomorrow. The whole pill wasn't doing a huge thing but it at least took the edge off. I think I just need the frequency adjusted on the med for it to help more. I was feeling sorry for myself and just tired of this whole extreme pain thing and not sleeping well. Trying to shake the dust off.
I had a phone appointment this morning for the pre op for my egd next Tuesday. Found out I have to do lab work Thursday. I have an appointment this afternoon with the pain clinic and hopefully there'll be enough time to get the med filled.
QOTD: I have never served on one. Due to some of my mental health stuff I really shouldn't. My mom however has been on several juries. Once ended in a life sentence but not murder.
B: JUST egg cup, toast and half a cup of cold brew coffee
L: imitation crab meat and some veggie
D: potato & leek soup with cheese
S: bugles, half a chocolate chip cookie and ???

G'morning all!
Post and run today!
QOTD: I almost served once, but the judge and I were in the same class (our kids were class mates and I was the room mom). It was actually funny when it was time to go into the court room, she and I looked at each other first surprised then with a smirk. The judge started explaining the rules and said we have to divulge if there any conflicts with the case. For example juror#1 and I know each other. We are not in the same circle of friends but I receive a lot of emails from her (I was a very prolific room mom). The case was about a man who was on medication, drank and got into accident. Their line of defense was he didn't realize the mixing of alcohol and medicine would impair him that much. When they said if we had any question I raised my hand and said "isn't it a given that while on medication you shouldn't drink?" Needless to say juror#1 was excused right off the bat. The judge emailed me afterwards and said you got out of that fast! I was called one more time last year (in the middle of Covid) and was supposed to call in on 12/24 (Xmas eve) to see if I had to go in. Who selects a jury on Xmas eve? I totally forgot and didn't call.
My meals yesterday :
- Coffee
- Tuna & hb eggs
- Fage yogurt w/strawberries, chomp stick
- Meat loaf, skipped the roasted potatoes although they looked yum (my mom's recipe)
- E: 4.5 miles jog
Happy taco Tue!

Happy Tuesday,
I am off work this week, visiting family in Montana and helping clean out the family home. We went to the Bill Burr show in Seattle last Friday, it was a trip there and back. The show was good but started an hour late which is frustrating. I will admit that between the 6 hour drive each way, waiting for the show to start I was a little caged up energy wise on the way home. Yesterday, DD and I drove over from Spokane to my hometown in Montana. It was a 5 hour drive. I did good food wise and managed to get a short walk in during the evening. Today the plan is to help with cleaning out the old home and I have class tonight. It is my final day of my project management course! Yay! Then my Tuesdays are free in the evening. I am feeling good post-op gallbladder and hernia repair. Still on lifting restrictions for 7 more days. So exercise will be mainly walking.
QOTD: I was selected for a murder trial while living in California. I was pregnant with my first child, I had a test come back abnormal that needed to be redone, therefore was forced to withdraw from the trial. Eric Estrada (Pounch from CHiPs) was in the jury pool, he was super nice and approachable. I have received summons over the years but have put in deferments due to childcare issues when my kids were younger. I wouldnt mind serving though.
B: triple zero greek yogurt with collagen, 1/4c blueberries, 2 tbsp keto granola, cold brew with half n half
L: lettuce salad, 3 strawberries, 1/4 c blueberries, 3 oz chicken, balsamic vinegar
S: protein frosty
D: TBD
S: maybe popcorn
E: try to get a 60 minute walk in.
Have a great day.
