Is Sporty on of the original Spice girls? I'd be more like Shorty.

Good Morning Jen and Menuers,

Thanks for starting us out this Morning Jen. I really appreciate you take the time for us. You always do so good at the Memes and QOTD"s.

Shelia You look Marvelous and again congratulation on your 5 year Surgiversery. Can you believe how fast the time has gone. wow. Your Arms look great. I have to much flab to get my arms to look that good. And I am super soft right now from not being able to do the strength training that I was doing prior to blowing out my arm. Soon I'll get back. I think after my run next week I am going to start a spin class. I still need to take it easy on my arm nothing more that 16oz above my head and I know I'd over do it if I took the HITT class.

I have been getting ready for the 4th of July. I know I am still a week out but I can make the frozen dessert since it will not go bad and at least make sure I am not short on ingredients for the rest of the Menu.

QOTD: I have been summons 2x I was 18 the first time and it was when you still had to show up and sit in the Jury room and wait even if you did not get picked. Of course before cell phones so it was terrible. Then during the pandemic I got called but they cancel trials that week so I did not have to go. I would not be opposed to serving if need be.

Accountability: I made the caramel covered cheese balls for the holiday and a few flew down my throat.

Thanks. I always say it's thanks to my trainer. If it wasn't for her I wouldn't know what to do. Even though since Covid hit we haven't worked out together in the same room, she sends me a new routine every week and I follow it religiously. Consistency is the key.

I wish I were that compliant! I am envious of all of you on here that are so consistent with exercise.

You can, Amy! Need to make it a priority and put it on your calendar like any other meeting. I know it's easier for me WFH, because my schedule is flex, but you gotta treat it like any other work meeting.

I have been summoned and never selected for a jury. Once there was a person who was accused of stealing money from a prison. He was an inmate of the prison and accused of breaking into an office there and stealing money. His lawyer asked me if the fact that he was in the prison uniform and serving a term for theft would influence my thoughts about his innocence. I answered honestly that it would and was dismissed.

Good morning everybody!

I have been in this really bad sleep cycle lately. Wake up too early, can't fall back to sleep for an hour plus, and then finally fall asleep for an entire 3 1/2 hour sleep cycle right at 5:00 or 6:00.

In any case, I am trying to be productive at work these next few days because I am basically on vacation for most of July. Our office is shut down next week and then I go back for a meeting the morning of the 11th before departing for Iceland the evening of the 11th. We return the 25th.

I volunteered to review things that anybody around the country needed looked at during the Fourth week will probably try to be stealth vacationing for the first few days of the cruise (i.e. don't put on my out of office and just delegate as much as possible).

We have a case of nectarines and they are just wonderful (although messy). I love a good nectarine in the summer.

QOTD: I have been summoned several times but always either the case doesn't happen or I am dismissed. For my Board role in CASA, I have attended a day of hearings in Family Court and saw how those proceedings work.

Breakfast: Avacado Toast

Lunch: Roast Beef

Dinner: Hello Fresh

Have a great day, all!
