G'morning all!
Wow Jen, you got up at 1:30, played games, read a book and then headed out? I can't imagine getting up that early and function. I had heard about the planets lining up from a friend and asked DH if he wanted to get out his telescope. When he found out what time it was he backed out! Please share the pics if you get any.
We are towards the end of our quarantine/mask period, and can get out by Sunday. Yippee! We are planning a SUP session on that day to celebrate the new found freedom. If you don't hear from me on Mon please know DH got rid of me by feeding me to the sharks. The place we launch from is called shark park (I know I've talked about this before) and there have been shark sightings in the last week or so. Infact on Wed we had a shark attack about 45 minutes south of us. The guy survived, thank goodness.
QOTD: that I am compassionate and always protect the underdog. I had joined a company as a contractor, but it was a long project. After about 6 months I was in a 1:1 mtg with the CEO and he said he had noticed how compassionate I was and always sided with the underdog. He said we need people like you here and offered me a job.
My pics are of my morning and one afternoon walks with Luna.
My meals yesterday :
- Coffee
- Tuna + hb eggs
- Jello, cheese, cold cuts
- TJ shrimp stir fry
- E: cardio + weight
Happy Fri-yay!

That is a whole new take on "feed you to the fishes", lol. Tell DH that we're watching him!
your pictures (and your walk) is always so lovely! There's another lunar eclipse in the fall and it think it peaks at like 3 am and I am so excited to get up early for it rather than stay up late!

That's how I feel on those walks, serene. I feel so lucky about where we live and I am grateful for it every day. Now if you asked my kids they'd say BOOOOORING!

Hah! It's not so much the swimming fact (I'm a good swimmer) it's the fact when a shark is chasing you you forget everything and just feel fear. At least that's what I think I'd feel, I've never been chased by a shark, yet!
Another fact is they don't attack you like the movie jaws with all the surround sound system, they come quietly from below and womp! A good friend of DH was attacked and the shark took a good chunk of his side. He didn't even know what happened, in the middle of the ocean he felt he was run over by a truck. The shark was very sneaky thinking he is a seal in his wetsuit.
