Im 2 days out of surgery and just want to sleep.... Ive been getting the recommended amount of water in and have been drinking my proti but it doesn't help. Im just so sluggish and drained and I feel weak. Is this normal right after surgery? Has anyone else gone through this? Thanks.

yep. Very normal. Your body has been through a lot of trauma (i.e., major surgery). It was probably a couple of months before I had all my energy back, but those first few days are the worst. It'll get better and better as time goes on.

2 days out, you might still be kicking the anesthesia effects depending on how sensitive you are to it; your body will be focused on healing and you are consuming substantially lower calories, All of which drain energy! You'll get it back as your healing progresses!

Yup Normal. Sleep when you need, just don't hibernate. Movement is important post surgery too.
