Good morning ~ I can already see the weekend! It's looking like a nothing calendar day at work which is great so I can get all the things done. Miraculously (or by my squeaky wheel), the dealership found the part and the car should be ready today. I have 2 co-workers who are waiting for autobody parts for their cars from fender benders they've waited 6 months or more. Crazy supply chain.

QOTD: I was four years old and visiting my grandparents in Brooklyn. I saw people on TV on waterskis. I did not understand how they were flying on top of the water and wanted to do that. We went to Coney Island. I was playing in the sand and a strange lady asked me if I wanted to go in the deep water. She carried me far out and then left me alone. I expected the water to lift me up like the people on TV. I don't remember how I got out of there. I know my family was searching frantically. I remember my grandfather coming to get me. I was with a policeman who had bought me an ice cream cone, Ny sister was 3 and was so jealous of my ice cream.

Wow!! Not sure what kind of psychopath entices a toddler into the ocean and leaves her. Maybe she though she was a descendant of a siren or something!!

Wow, sounds like you are lucky to be alive. How awful for you and your family. Stranger danger is real.

Good morning, everybody!
Yesterday did not go as planned. Our trainer made very clear that he wanted people scaling Nancy unless they could do all of the OHS squats unbroken for at least the first few rounds. So, I went down to 65 pounds. I was able to get through all 5 rounds unbroken and got right around 23 minutes. Given the heat, it was probably the right decision.
Then one couple (Yes the ones) cancelled for open the 92's night, so that is postponed until next week. We agreed that there would be no third date if they cancel again. As I posted last night, the couple that has never heard baby Got Back also claims to have never heard Smells Like Teen Spirit and now I am just shook.
I did work out my plans for Dead & Company. Me and my oldest son are going to the Friday night show. We are going to try and go in early and have dinner because when we went to Hella Meggga Tour last year, parking around Wrigley was a disaster. Then I will go home Friday night, go to Crossfit Saturday and then in the evening me and Marilyn will go into the city and stay overnight, go to dinner, the Saturday show and brunch on Sunday. Should be a fun weekend.
I am in the office today, but running way late.
QOTD: Aside from this surgery for people who have only known me a few years I have nothing. Certainly nothing as exciting as Kelly.
Breakfast: Protien bar
Lunch: Ahi Tuna salad at the Palm
Dinner: Chicken
Have a great day, all!
