I suprised Mary didn't chime in here she is usually great with car manufacturing problems. You should not be paying for this in any way shape or form.. Go to Ford direct and go off. They are in the wrong.

I agree - It's Nissan though and then add on some drive shaft issue and we are definitely going to sue.... 2,500.00 now - and from a flat tire? Why isn't this covered?

I am impressed with people who organize their closet. my SIL organizes all her tops by color/hue. All I can manage is keeping my dresser, jackets, and sweater together.

Lol, I totally organize by top type and color! While I manage the limited space I have very well, I dream about a fabulous closet like Carrie from Sex in the City

G'morning all!

Congrats to your cousin, Jen, for winning gold. No matter what category he was in, he had the chutzpah to train and participate. I remember as a teenager participating in local races for downhill ski and being scared of coming in last. My dad very matter of fact said somebody has to come in last and it's ok if it's you, but have the chutzpah to participate.

Yesterday we had a heat wave in our area. We hit 92 which is very rare on the coast. And you could see that not many people are used to it, not even the pets. Thankfully it was just a blip and today we are back to a high of 72.

QOTD: Jen, I race you for reading but I think I'll come in second after you. I think I'll get gold as a coffee drinker, I haven't met anybody who can drink as many cups as me even late at night. I also think I play a mean game of Tetris with our freezer - we have one of those lower half of the fridge freezers and after a Costco run you can see me stretching and getting ready in front of the fridge to fit everything in the freezer.

My meals yesterday :

  • Coffee
  • Scrambled eggs & shredded cheese
  • Ice coffee + PP, frozen Fage yogurt w/sf syrup
  • Taco Tue (ate the innards)
  • E: cardio and weight (I hate bench step ups)

Happy hump day!

Good Morning Jen and Menuers,

Ok it's only Wednesday but I think I can handle the rest of the week. Today is my long day with PT and bible study and I threw in a pedicure at lunch.

QOTD: Drinking Alcohol I wish I could say sleeping here but that I get very little of it.

Accountability: I ate a Think bar w/lunch yesterday but not realizing 11g of sugar alcohols would put me in a tail spin. I was a mess for at least 2 hours than I made a Mixed Berry Pizza I ate that for dinner instead of my planed meal.

I had a bad experience with Think bars last year. I think they are loaded with Maltilol.

I might bronze in drinking myself - I had a hard time adjusting after RYN, but I have built up a new tolerance. It's like it was before surgery now. I don't think that is such a good thing, lol.

I'd be off the podium for sure. The one time I had a drink (called a Duck Fart) I felt it right away. The drink

  • 1/2 oz. Kahlua
  • 1/2 oz. Bailey's Irish Cream
  • 1/2 oz. Whiskey

ao not really a strong shot. I guess I am a cheap date as they say.
