Good morning! We spent just 4 hours at the fair yesterday and had a great time. Much smaller this year, and while it was certainly busy, it wasn't crazy, swimming upstream busy like usual. And yes, I had meat on a stick. But, alas, no fried cheese on a stick. We went with the tasty chips. We started dating right before the fair in 1980, and except for the Covid shut down, we have gone every single year and started our day at the tasty chip booth. Couldn't see breaking that tradition. Shockingly, when it came time to leave and I mentioned the cinnamon rolls, Rog opted to pass. Don't faint Sheila! I was good with that and happy he wasn't eating the calories. I've been trying to gently convince him to drop 40 pounds. i know it's not photo Friday, but in keeping with the subject matter:

Tasty chips. I had about 8-10. Gave the basket to Rog and told him to dump them in the trash when he was done!

that is 8 ounces of pork chop on a stick. I ate about half. And it was great.

There is nothing on my agenda today other than a stop by the dry cleaner.

QoTD: Be calm and breathe. You WILL figure out the next step.

Menu:
B: egg and bacon

L: not sure. maybe breadless blt bites

D: roasted chuck roast in black truffle braising sauce from Williams Sonoma. The sauce was part of a birthday basket from a friend. I have some baby potatoes to add to it. And maybe tomatoes on the side.

Peace everybody!

Hopefully you and your dad will be okay. I tested this morning because it's bad at work again. I was negative, but masking because I know all the positive people and their contacts!
