Midweek Wednesday is here! What's on your menu today?
Glad to hear work is picking up. I had an episode last night as well. I think I didn't chew enough on the cauliflower and it was stuck above my pouch. I did the same as you instead of forcing it out and went to bed in agony. When do we learn?
HW 299 SW 290 CW 139 GW 140 2/08/2019 OPERATION: Surgical Hernia with excision of total surface area of 55 x 29 cm of abdominal skin.
G'morning all!
Aw, Jen, we'll miss you. Safe travels and have a great time.
QOTD: 100% sun worshipper married to a sun avoider; our vacation days are fun to plan. We haven't had much fog so I am enjoying the sun. A lady that I barely talk to at the park, but we see each other every day with our dogs and nod hello, yesterday commented that I am turning brown. I smiled and said I am taking advantage of our no fog situation.
My meals yesterday :
- Coffee
- Costco egg Wich (with turkey)
- jello, ice coffee + premier protein
- Taco Tue (used cauliflower thins for my tacos)
- E: cardio + weight
Happy hump day!

Morning! I'm currently posting from under the heat lamp at my salon where I'm getting Keratin. Yay!
My mom is coming over this afternoon to hang out which will be nice. I need to check in and respond to work emails but basically just a nice chill day to hang out before our trip tomorrow.
QOTD: I'm somewhere in between. I used to douse myself in oil and bake until I was berry brown all summer. I'm MUCH more careful now but I don't avoid sun as much as I should.
Food? Hmm.
B: protein coffee
S: cheese stick
L: ? I bet my mom will want to go out for tacos...
D: leftover tacos?

Mornin' All!
another scorcher on tap for today, but temps should moderate starting tomorrow. So another inside day - except for the massage I have scheduled for this afternoon. DH wants to go out biking this morning, but i don't know - things are supposed to heat up pretty rapidly. I think I'd rather do a youtube video or maybe find some indoor class to go to.
we went to see the Temptations play last night ("Ain't Too Proud"). My friend had tickets, but both she and her husband are battling some awful non-COVID virus, so she gave me her tickets. It was terrific! I didn't even have to elbow DH, who often falls asleep during movies and plays (which is why I never buy theater tickets unless I'm going with someone other than him! It's a pretty expensive nap, and I don't want to spend half the time monitoring and elbowing him). Since I'm currently taking an online course on Black music, I also knew some of the backstory, which made it even more enjoyable.
QOTD: I guess I'm kind of in the middle. I love being outside when it's sunny and not too hot, but then I (usually) remember to wear sunscreen, and I gravitate toward umbrella-ed tables if we're somewhere that features them. Like some others on here, I also have fair skin and freckle easily.
B: grilled peach topped with vanilla yogurt. Coffee with half & half.
MS: protein shake
L: either tuna/chickpea salad on a Wasa cracker, or some chocolate "mousse" I made yesterday topped with raspberries ("mousse" - cottage cheese, fake sugar, protein powder, unsweetened cocoa powder, and enough unsweetened almond milk to get it going in the blender).
AS: probably a smaller version of whichever choice I don't have for lunch
D: pulled pork with BBQ sauce, Mexican street corn or a kale salad
have a great day, everyone!
The play you saw is part of my theaters season tickets DD and I purchased. Happy to hear it was good.

Good morning all and Happy Hump Day,
Wine Wednesday? More like Whine Wednesday! It seems that everyone I have talked to today has been complaining about everything.
Safe travels!
QOTD - Sun worshipper. I love the sun and it helps my sunny disposition. I am concerned about the effects of all the time I spent in the sun without sunscreen years ago.
