Mornin Mornin, gang! I have the entire day off with no appointments except that I have to attend a 4 hour board meeting for work via zoom tonight from 6pm - 10pm (not going to miss those!!!). I have already cleaned the entire house, made a new batch of cookies & royal icing, and packed for the trip and its only 9:30am. I think I am going to tackle the herb garden next :) I love this life and think that I am just going to be so happy doing grad school next yer instead of working. I'm doing an all online program so I'll have lots of time to garden and bake in my future. Yay!
QOTD: Oh goddddd that is a tough one. Can I take Grim with me, lol? He is great company and I don't think we'd ever run out of things to talk about. But if it has to be a thing and not a person, I would take everything I need to bake and decorate cookies and an unlimited audible subscription so that I can listen to murder podcasts and books while I bake.
Yesterday was kind of a train wreck with eating, though. The bad thing about being unstructured is not following a meal plan like I do when I am at work... I managed to eat a dairy free ice cream bar, cheese-its AND wine. Yeesh. Luckily I am running out of food...
I never went to the store yesterday and now it doesn't seem worth it since we leave first thing on Thursday. I am scrounging deep into the freezer to keep myself alive for 2 more days.
B: Protein Coffee
S: Cheese stick
L: Frozen Fish
D: Frozen Chicken Breasts (I think I will make them lemon pepper)
Have a great one, friends!

I just told him that if I go, he's coming with me... it came out more like a threat than a declaration of eternal love ;)

G'morning all!
I read somewhere a commentary about days of the week and they claimed Tue is the worst day of the week, because we all know Monday sucks, but Tue sucks as bad as Mon because it's not Wed and we are not half way done. I think it's looking at half empty glass attitude because I'd look at Tue and say at least it's not Monday and hey...Taco Tue!!!
I am dealing with a man cold at home. After 10 days of fun in Nicaragua DH has come home with sore throat and chills. We've been testing him daily to make sure it's not COVID, but boy he is milking it with "I don't feel good", "I have the chills", "can I have some OJ?", "can you get me a blanket?", "can you check my temp again, I think I have a fever" It's 97!!!!
QOTD: audible (so I'd need my phone too I guess), crochet hooks, yarn! I like Amy's idea to prank people by calling them from after life.
My meals yesterday :
- Coffee
- Costco egg bites
- Fage yogurt, jello, quest chips
- TJ shrimp stir fry
- E: 4.5 miles jog
Happy Taco Tue!

Oh no! Man cold/man flu is the worst...or the whiniest at least!! Hopefully DH at least realizes that, lol.

I agree. My FIL could cut off his hand, wrap it in a dirty rag to stop the bleeding, and not make a peep about it. Oh Lord, if he had a cold he was on his death bed. Same as DS, lots of complaining and blaming of other members of the family for "making him sick" when no one else has been sick.
