Monday is here...again! Boo!
Finding Nemo was one of my kids' favorite movie! DD chose Australia as her place-to-go-with-dad when she turned 12 just for that movie.
I had a great weekend. Sat was warm, mellow and on my own. So I did some beach time, errands, and lots of walks with Luna. Sun was rainy and the bday celebrations had to be modified a little bit. No more walk on the beach, but we drove directly to Half Moon Bay, had a great lunch at a Mexican restaurant with live band, walked around town (even under the drizzle), did some shopping, had coffee and biscotti, more shopping, had a small gelato, more shopping, and finally drove home around 7:00. It was a perfect day. When I got home DH had arrived from Nicaragua, so that was a happy ending to a great weekend.
QOTD: invisibility - I can be in certain rooms and hear things that people are planning, and on the other end of the situation I can disappear if somebody is talking to me and I'm not in the mood anymore. I can just picture it; the person is talking nonsense and I've had it, poof, gone. Can you imagine their face? No more polite talk and smile because I have to...poof...gone!

Loving the meme!
The weekend was nice. We had more sun than anticipated but not enough for me since it still rained. I am a bit envious of all the hot weather (although 100+ is a bit much) you all have been reporting. I think we had a high of 77. With the mild weather and rain, rain, rain my planters are looking a bit wilted and puny. The veggie plants are struggling. They are asking for some sun. Saturday was pretty relaxing. My kids had their band performance that went really well. They had 2 new songs that they performed along with 6 "classics" of their own. Sunday, I went to inferno pilates, some grocery shopping, meal prep, and "helped" my son with an art project. I dont know why the schools make kids who dont like art take a art class. He always waits until the last minute to do the assignment because he doesn't like the class. So annoying. This is the final week of school for the year so a break is coming. Although it looks like my son will flunk his chemistry class and will need to take it online this summer to make it up. He says it is because he doesn't understand it but I really think it is because he adopted a "who gives a ****" attitude about school during the second semester. There will be a cost to take the class online so I told him he needs to pay for half of the cost.
Yesterday my niece and her boyfriend moved to town to start new jobs. Her boyfriend has an interesting new job in which he will develop a program for released convicts who had been involved in the Prision's forest firefighting program obtain jobs within the program he is developing. Apparently, newly released prisoners who have this forest firefighting experience while incarcerated are unable to get jobs once released due to their criminal history. So this program will allow them to be employed by the state to fight forest fires but specifically within the newly developed program.
QOTD: I have been convinced that teleportation is the way to go. I would travel to all kinds of fun places to visit, not just shorten my commute.

I am attaching a picture for Sheila who asked me about the sf chocolate. It is not a TJ brand. Also, it is currently on backorder at TJ due to "supply issues". My local TJ said they would be available after the 20th of June. You can find at other places online.
