Monday, we meet again! What's on your menu?
Good morning all and Happy Monday,
Good ole, reliable Monday!
My weekend was decent but not without drama. My car key got stuck in my ignition Saturday night. I just locked up the car and left it, thinking I would bring it in to a shop Monday. I was nervous to leave my car like that seeing that my neighborhood has it's share of car break-ins.
Also, my Dad fell yesterday and ended up back in the hospital. He's ok from the fall but tested positive for Covid. He's asymptomatic besides shortness of breath. However, he's always short of breath. I just saw him Saturday so I'll get tested.

we've been having a lot of car break-ins here the last couple of years, too. I'm grateful we have a two-car garage (one of the few in this 1950's era neighborhood...). I hope no one notices the key in there - although not being able to get the key out of the ignition will cause any would-be thief some problems!!!!
Confusion, falls, and the like are sometimes the first signs elderly persons are ill. I hope your dad feels better. I am glad he didnt get hurt in the fall.

Good Morning Jen and Menuers,
I think I overdone myself as well. Besides my arm that hurts I also have a bruised toe from kicking a chair that is probably broke, I have backpain that came on out of the blue and I have a sore knee. I have no go idea why all this pain is coming on, I am going to look up some stretches I can do for my back before I schedule a doctors appointment and see if that helps.
I have 2 busy days coming up. Tomorrow I need to take the car in for maintenance and see if they can figure out why it seems to stutter and sputter all the time. This is still the Ford I won the lemon law case on and it still gives me problems. Tomorrow evening is my last hair appointment with my hairdresser who was done my hair for 26 years. Wednesday I think I have my last appointment with the orthopedic that did my arm and Wednesday night I will be heading up bible study. Come on Thursday that is all I gotta say.

You have to come up with a good story for your aches and pains from this weekend. I always tell myself that I need to get better at the story behind them vs "well, I was sleeping and hurt my back", lol
