Lisa, I saw my first advertisement for Fire Country while you were away. Clay is also filming Season 6, but there is speculation about whether he will have a limited role.

Thanks for the shout out. I love your interpretation on M&M. I am adopting that as well. Yesterday was a day of awakening. I am guessing you were at M&M World in Paris. I've been to Vegas and New York. Hopping travel is still a thing in 10 years when I can retire.

Happy Tuesday-

I read through posts yesterday but didn't get to posting my own message. I kept myself busy during the day with laundry, mowing, composting, general housework, and hot yoga. The weekend was nice but it did rain most of the weekend. Saturday we did go to Top Gun Maverick, which was good, entertaining. I wouldn't say great but if you liked the first one you would probably like this second version. In many ways it was a copy of the first but with a change up in the characters... Sunday my concert at the local winery was canceled due to rain and lightening. It has been rescheduled for later in the summer. DH and I did put up the suspension system for my kayak. It turns out that it is more difficult to suspend it appropriately then I anticipated. Due to the shape of the kayak the supporting straps kept sliding off the front of the kayak, despite adjustments it continued to do so. Eventually, with extra straps we got it to work but I think that when I am actively using the kayak frequently I will keep it down, outside under a tarp for ease, then use the suspension system for the winter to keep it out of the elements and off the garage floor. A little disappointed in that aspect. I tried a new group exercise offered at my hot yoga studio called inferno pilates. The room was not as hot as with hot yoga rather warm. It was very similar to HIIT, I really enjoyed it. I may do it more often. I am still sore from it 2 days later!

My kids have only 2 weeks of school left this year. I can't believe how fast the school year has flown by. Tonight is my last night of my project management class but will have an additional 3 weeks of learning a project management software program in its place. I will be glad to have my Tuesday evenings back when it is done.

QOTD: I personally do not get any magazines. I ordered a World War II magazine for my son that comes every other month, but I am not sure I will reorder since he tends to read from his phone and not really from print copy. Maybe if it is available online. I randomly will pickup people magazine if I am at an appointment. I really prefer to read something with a plot/storyline.

I watched Top Gun on Prime this weekend just to gear up to see Maverick. Now I'm not sure if I'll hit the theater or just wait till it comes to a subscription near me.

It is still a fun watch at the theater. When I said it was somewhat of a reboot I meant that Maverick became the instructor (vs. student), some of the new characters had some similar characteristics as in the old version. I think that the flying is amazing, acting is very good, solid story line. It could be that I was expecting more due to audience reviews I had seen. To me not a must see but should see.
