DH use to get a subscription of Maxium, Muscle and Fitness, and Flex magazines until they became more advertising then articles. Now DH and DS use the internet to search out articles to read instead, which is free with some ads at times.

With so much content on the internet, I really just like magazines for the pictures like Martha Stewart - her gardens, home and pets - never mind her food! It's art to me.

QOTD- I used to get Spinning and knitting magazines, Practical Horseman, The Sun and a few others. I haven't subscribed in a while. I can now get most of them from the library, but just haven't wanted to spend the time. They used to pile up and I finally got rid of most of them when I moved. I did keep most of the knitting magazines that had patterns in them.
I made peace with my mother, all is well again. She has not met the people that possibly might want to move in, and I told her I would like to meet them and make sure she has a rental agreement.
Poor Sammy it took me 3 tries to get his fluid in yesterday, plus I drugged him so he was stumbling around like a drunken sailor. I felt so bad, I don't want to hurt him. He was a bit snarly but I would be too if it was being done to me.
Today is my mammogram and ultra sound, send me some positive vibes that all will be well.
Have a great day everyone!

Glad to hear that you made peace with your mom. It's a tough situation to witness someone you love being taken advantage of.
