I did not make these meme but I could have!

Good morning and the week is just zipping by! We are almost at the end of the work week, yay!

Just a normal busy day here with my rescheduled workout with my trainer after work, otherwise nothing exciting on. I did better with walking away from the internet yesterday not getting on after 630....I think I might set a 6pm cutoff for myself moving forward. I've been really good for years with not using screens an hour or so before bed but now I think I need a bigger buffer.

QOTD: what is your favorite single exercise move? I love planking, I feel strong when I can hold a plank for an extended period...I am shaking as a leaf when I do it but still feel strong!

menu today

coffee plus half and half X 2

PB English muffin plus 2 slices bacon

left over tri tip (possibly X2)

bult bar

Have a great day everyone!

Good mornin Jen and thanks for getting us started as usual!

Not a lot planned for the day. I have to go get some essentials today from Walmart it other than that I'm hoping for a lot of nothing. The ketamine is helping slightly...taking the edge off anyway of the nerve issues. So far not helping bone pain much if at all. I know thought, that it can take a while to get to working. I have to lay down as I let it melt. The first time I took it I got up and fell right back into my chair...the room started spinning. I just don't get how people like that high feeling. I just hate it.

A good friend of my sent me a nice big weighted blanket. My legs have been jerking a lot when I lay down. It's a hit! Percy thinks so too, as long as I'm still under it.

I also started the diabetes med yesterday. I have to get my A1c rechecked in late July and we'll see if it will work. I'm also cutting back on carbs. Not strict but less fruit and junk type snacks. I have some raw veggies to snack on. I need to figure out a dip I can make to use if I want it. I can't buy most bottled stuff s it has eggs in it. If y'all have any tips I'd appreciate it! Ranch isn't my favorite...I'm thinking of doing an onion dip of some sort with yogurt. We'll see! I may get stuff for a salad or two.

QOTD: my go to is/was dancing...no particular "move" as my skills are very poor like. I used to love Richard Simmons's videos.

B: JUST egg cup, coffee x2, and a 1/2 cup rice chex

L: Amylu chicken burger patty, broccoli

D: not sure on this one yet

S: L&F yogurt, light cheese stick and maybe a very tiny peach

Could you do a tatziki dip for veggies? Yogurt, Cucumber, Garlic, Dill, lemon - very refreshing, no eggs.

I throw a Aldi Ranch packet in Non fat yogurt and add a little mayo for the consistency.

I do the same for ranch only with Hidden Valley seasoning, no mayo since it keeps the calories down. I think you could also make a onion dip. The 2 Good yogurt in plain is 90 calories for 2/3 or 3/4 c, only a few carbs. That is what I like to use.

I Hidden Valley. TJ's ranch is just barely okay compared - if they even still carry it. I've never tried Aldi's.

I've never tried doing an onion one, but maybe some onion soup mix in plain Greek yogurt?

My favorite dip is jalapeno ranch. I've made it a 100 different ways but my favorite is ranch powder mix w/low fast sour cream and a little non fat milk to thin with fresh grated jalapeno. Greek yogurt works too, but I prefer the low fat sour cream.
