this cracked me up!

Good morning and welcome to JUNE! Also, it's already Wednesday, yay!

My trainer canceled about half an hour before my session yesterday (stomach bug) and instead of getting up and going to the basement, I just played on the internet for a few hours...I did eventually get in a short workout but really dropped the ball yesterday. Then after my short workout, I got right back on the internet; it was a completely wasted evening that I won't repeat today.

QOTD - are you (physically) flexible? I am not, I honestly think I have the highest hamstrings known to man so even when I'm "loose" I still am not flexible. My step sister is flexible enough she can lick her elbow (she was even on the Jay Leno show for it when she was in high school!).

Nothing major planned for today outside of work and working out, I am going to do a live boxing session this evening and my PT this morning I think.

food is a question mark today, I'm really not at all sure what is there to eat other than meat cheese mushrooms and yogurt/protein powder/almond milk. and yasso bars which I'm not going there.

I am ok with Yasso bars in the house but their ice cream sandwich is dangerous. With meat cheese and mushrooms I'd be thinking omelette if you have eggs!

QOTD. I am pretty flexible, more so in the legs.

First day of vacation. I pick up one of the girls that is going on the girls beach week this afternoon. She is eager to go shopping so we will try to wear the numbers off of her credit card in the next couple of days before going to Marco. Marco has a few boutiques but you can hit them all in a half a day. We have charted back country fishing as well. I am looking forward to that, it's been a stupid long time since We have been out.

Menu. Protein shake, cantaloupe, watermelon, ribeye, salad. I need to go CostCo later, for a couple of cases of premier protein drinks.

Good morning and welcome June! I just tried to lick my elbow, lol. I have some covid symptoms and and tested negative on a rapid this morning but I am staying home out an abundance of caution and because we are still in outbreak mode at work. I haven't been in the office since last Wednesday but will work from home today.

QOTD - I am oddly flexible and bendy. I can bend down and put both my hands flat on the ground and my head through my legs - even at 300 pounds. It's a gift.

Accountability - perfect

take a PCR test if they're still available in your area. I've read there are no false positives with antigen tests, but there ARE false negatives (or did you take the rapid PCR? Not sure of the accurateness of those....). I hope you're OK...

Our Covid procedure at work is that if we have symptoms, we are referred for a PCR. Just waiting for the world to wake up on the west coast. I took the rapid because I was curious.

Oh Amy, you are dealing with way too much! I hope it's just a "normal" cold thing.

Funny you say that about flexibility and weight not being linked, I was very mad at myself after goal that I didn't suddenly become flexible, until my trainer told me that flexibility and weight aren't linked (although I still contend when the "roll down over the beachball" and the beachball is your belly, it's a challenge). I am excited when after a pilates session I can touch the ground with only a slight knee bend; never with straight legs!
