Whoo-hoo! (Photo) Friday and last friday in May!! What's on your menu today?
QOTD- 1. Not being able to buy a house that I can afford, which leads to 2. Never being able to retire 3. Most people.
I can't seem to stop snacking in the afternoon, I am beginning to hate TJ's it's too convenient (across the street) at least I walk there but they have too many things that I can't resist. I saw the new spice everyone was talking about, still on the fence about it. If I want dill pickles in something I have them.
Today is closing for the condo, I'm off of the gas and electric bills so that will help. I'm in a 2nd floor apartment, and even this early in the season it's been warm up here. I'm not sure I'll be able to survive without purchasing a portable A/C unit. I kept one of my fans so I'll get it out of storage and see if it helps. Trying not to spend any money right now, I'll try to pretend I'm back in Maui and just sweat.
My alarm cat has been pretty consistent, 12, 1, 2 &4. Ignore him at your peril I'm just about back to sleep and he lets out a meow that would wake the dead. As far as I can figure he just wants food. The vet said he has chronic kidney disease, not sure if that has anything to do with his alarm status.
Have a great day everyone!

Good morning all and Happy Friday,
Yesterday was tough. I was feeling off all day, sweating but cold at the same time. Gross. Today, I feel fine besides the feeling of a little exhaustion. The pain management doctor thinks it may have been withdrawals from stopping a couple meds that I was weaning off of. Despite not feeling well, I still got everything accomplished that I set out to do.
I'm looking forward to the weekend. I am one who needs a reminder like Memorial Day to focus on how privileged a life I lead thanks to the hard work of countless individuals in the Armed Forces that make this country great.
This weekend should be nice and relaxing. It will be nice to grill and I'll peruse Costco for big slabs of red meat to throw on the grill. Americ **** yeah!

#2. While I like a good salad with grilled chicken, I rarely put that together at home. The chicken salad that I regularly eat is easy on the light mayo.

I grew up eating French dressing and I remember loving it on cucumbers. I haven't had it in years. I looked for the FF version and I can't find it anywhere, but I found it online and ordering.
