G'morning all!

Oh boy, that reminds me of the time we lived in the "country". We had a mutt who was so clever. A little bit farther down from us lived a family with tons of chicken. Our mutt, whose name was Tintin, somehow got under their fencing, went into the hen house and brought us one. We panicked; went to their house and offered to pay, found out he had killed more than one and just brought home the biggest one. The owner was FURIOUS!! Our vet told us now that he has tasted blood he'll go after them again. So the story in our family is we left the country for the suburbs because of our murderous Tintin.

It's that time of the year again that you will hear me complaining about our coastal weather. While inland is getting warmer (DH said it was 85° in Silicon Valley)we are getting fog which brings the temps down. Our high yesterday was barely 62° and I was going around in sweats. So if you are in the warm weather part of the country send us some sunshine because we might not see any sun all week long.

QOTD: I love all blooming flowers and plants but can't keep any. I'd kill a plant the second I touch it.

My meals yesterday :

  • Coffee
  • Eggwich
  • Jello, epic chicken, sea salt & pepper peanuts
  • Smoked salmon + edamame
  • E: cardio + weight

Happy jr Fri-yay!

June gloom struggle is real! (which actually lasts months). I used to live in Morro Bay and it was depressing. I'm just far enough away from the coast now not to suffer but driving through Pismo 2x a day on my commute is a mood changer. Sunny at home/work, dark and gloomy Pismo/5 cities, then sunny again.

Sending you SUN!!!

Good morning all and Happy Fri-yay Jr,

My body is not cooperating today. I'm sweating yet cold at the same time. I hope I'm not getting sick. On a positive note, my weight loss seems to have kick-started again. I'm down 5lbs since my bariatric appt.

QOTD: Basil for food. It's easy to grow and the convenience of tearing off leaves can't be matched. Marijuana, specifically CBD for pain. I thought pot was just to get high but the therapeutic qualities have helped manage my pain.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine, blueberries.

L: 1/2 corned beef sandwich.

D: Fairlife protein shake or chicken skewers.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.
