Good Morning Jen and Menuers,
I am sure everyone has a heavy heart this morning and my prayers go out to everyone in this country even if you were not effected by this recent tragedy directly, indirectly I know we are all feeling it. Why when growing up there were state mental institutions everywhere? Are there even any state mental institutions in the U.S.A. anymore?
Jen I don't mind the dentist but going for my annual with the Yuck doctor is my least favorite appointment of the year. I just wish there was a better way.
I have a filled up day today. I am doing a manicure at lunch and after work I have PT and Bible study so that gets me home at about 9:00PM. I won't go straight to bed because it's Survivor finally night and I am excited to see who wins this season. I am a big Jonathan fan but there are a lot of savvy players this season. I fell asleep last night and did not get to see the series ending of This is Us. I may stream it on my phone and watch as I process orders this morning just to get it out of the way and no one spoils it for me.

QOTD- No 3 day weekend for me, if I had a yard I would be planting my annuals or veggies. But since I don't have one, I don't have anything planned.
My cold is getting better, slowly...
Sorry but I love my dentist, we talk football and he's a Seahawks fan. He's a funny guy.
I get my nails done this afternoon, and my hair tomorrow. Those are the only things that I have this week.
I had a long conversation last night with my BFF about the shooting. It is such a mystery why we can't stop them, why do we have so many guns? What is it that makes it OK to accept this happening every week, there are so many mass shootings that we hardly pay attention. It is beyond sad, I can't even fathom what the parents and loved ones are going through. This should not be happening here.
I honestly qui****ching the news after 9/11, if I had to watch those towers fall one more time I was going to lose my mind. I'm so tired of the amount of hate that is out there. I know a lot of this was generated by the last regimes acceptance and encouragement of white supremacy and the dividing of this country. It is so sad that we cannot see each other as human beings regardless of the color of our skin, or our accent or whatever it is that we choose to make the "other". As long as we can make them lesser or different from us it's OK to treat people horribly.
I just don't understand it and don't believe that this is what our veterans fought for, a country that is so divided. I'm not sure that we can heal it, but we have to try.
Have a great day everyone! Breathe and get out in nature.
