Got a little bit of bad news late in the day. With the help of a steroid shot earlier this year and eating bad I guess...my A1c went up to a 7.5. My doctor wanted me to start insulin again if it was that number or higher. I am just so disappointed with myself but it's time to buckle down and get serious. Time to fire up MyFitnessPal again. I threw out some of the bad things I've fallen back into eating. I'd like to try WW but can't really afford it right now. I may after I get paid on the 1st. I wish I could go to meetings but alas the gas prices and distance are a factor.

Maybe someone here can help you figure out the points you should be at given your goals and I think there are websites that show the no points foods and knockoff calculators widely available (user interface may vary though). Maybe that can help until you can join a program?
