What's on your Monday menu?
The summer I turned 18 I was just graduated from high school and looking for a job. By 19, I had found a job, and spent my vacation in New York. I stayed with my aunt and my cousins took me sightseeing or to a beach everyday. I remember the United Nations Building and Greenwich Village. Greenwich Village was culture shock to a young girl from Ohio. I was fascinated by the Beatniks and by men who cross dressed. So new and different.

How fun! I bet it was an exciting time to be in Greenwich Village!

QOTD: At 18 it would have been something like Tahiti, Bora Bora or Australia for the Great Barrier Reef. Tropical and exotic with fabulous reefs to dive.
Today is my Friday and I have the next 3 days off with no real plans other than one doctor,s appointmentbThursday morning. Also Thursday, I am planning to go to the Tower Gallery on Sanibel to visit with a friend. That will take the afternoon. Summer is here and we are saying goodby to all the winter residents. School is out too, so we will have the roads back for a few months. Does anyone else here have the population double during "season" ?
Menu. Protein shakes, a taco that my boss bought me, hamburger patty

I lived in Miami and Phoenix so definitely familiar with that snowbird season at least. We do get an influx for ski season but I'm not a skier and know how to avoid the chaos.
