Did you ever watch one called Sports Night? I am not a sports person but I loved it -- it was smart and fast and witty with a great cast.

Happy Happy Friday
The kids and I had a great time at the concert Wednesday night. The venue was sort of factory warehouse holding about 1000 people. The bands were great (rock punk genre-Microwave, Mom Jeans, Joyce Manor, and the Story So Far). It was standing only, the mosh pit got started right in front of us. My kids formed a "wall" to protect me but later after we moved forward we were in the middle of the pit. The kids loved it. I however was getting tossed around like a rag doll so decided to move back to a safer area. It was fun. I did manage to get a workout in before we left on Wednesday then a long walk yesterday after we got back.
My plans for the weekend are busy. The local airbase is holding SkyFest which is military planes and flyoevers. So we plan to go on Sunday to that. Tonight after my workout I am going to get started on weeding my flower beds so I can start planting the flowers I bought last weekend. We are also going to transplant the raspberry, blackberry, and gooseberry bushes from the raised garden into the ground. They are trying to take over the whole garden. I also need to drive out to pick up DD from the horse ranch tonight (1 hour each way). Saturday I will probably go to the local garden show to look around, then come home to more yard work. I am hoping it doesn't rain as predicted. Every weekend when I want to be outside it is rain rain and more rain! DD tells me we need it, but I say rain during the week and leave the weekend nice for me!

I am 5'4". Its funny my DD asked me why she looks so big next to me. DD is 5'8", which she laments that she wants to be taller. DS is 6'0", he also complains that he is short. He always tells me that there are girls taller than him at school.
