I bought them on Amazon because I couldn't find them anywhere. White Dove is right - they are good and very dangerous.

G'morning all!

Has anybody read Cloud Cuckoo Land by Anthony Doerr? He is the author of All the lights we can't see. The story is about 5 characters in 3 different eras (1400, present, and sometime in the distant future). The stories per se are interesting, but this jumping around is very frustrating for me. As soon as I'm getting into the story of one character it goes to somebody else in a completely different era. I'm listening to the book and usually wear ear buds around the house not to bother DH working, but I guess I scared the bejesus out of him when I yelled "oh, c'mon" when the story changed gear again. I am also reading the Lincoln Highway on the group recommendation here, and thoroughly enjoying it.

QOTD: hmmm, I'm not sure if I keep anything weird. Jen, chocolate in the fridge seems normal to me. On a ft call with my sister, while I was putting groceries away, she asked me why my bread and eggs are in the fridge. I had forgotten that in Europe eggs are left out, and the bread is in a bread box. I know bread (and tortillas) go stale faster in the fridge but I keep doing it. And the eggs here in US are washed out of their outer layer so need to be refrigerated. I also read about butter being out but I'm truly worried I'll be back in the kitchen facing a melted butter.

My meals yesterday :

  • Coffee
  • Hb eggs & tuna pouch
  • Fage yogurt w/strawberry, jellos, peanuts
  • Grilled chicken
  • E: cardio + weight

Happy jr Fri-yay!
