^^ did not happen today but it's always fun when it does!

Good morning everyone! Hope your monday was excellent and Tuesday shapes up the same!

Today is the only day that I don't have afterwork activities until Sunday so I will make the most of it. Get in some workout, get in some house project and also relax a bit with an early to bed goal. The week will be long but fun!

QOTD - the conversation yesterday prompted this question - what is your beach (or all day out in the sun) garb? in 2008, I found swim capris (which being short legged are swim leggings on me) and I've never looked back - swim capris, longs sleeve rash guard, make your own shade hat and I wear at least 50 sunblock under all of that, plus layer on more as the day goes on. for hands, feet, neck, ears I use as high as I can find so usually Neutrogena 100 and for my face I use the Goop Unseen Sunscreen; it doesn't go as high as I would like but I reapply it often. It's been years since I've had a bad sunburn so it works -- I had so many sun poisoning/sunburn cases as a kid that I am super diligent now.

menu today is

egg and breakfast sausage

yogurt

jalapeno lime suasage link

popcorn

Have a great Tuesday everyone!

morning everyone!!!

Coffee is flowing and I ONLY have 4 calls today lol

QOTD: my skin is essentially clear so stay out of the sun as much as possible. I like high waisted bottoms and a tankini top with a long sarong-but I really like your idea of the rash guard. I usually am in a huge hat and tons of sunscreen. without an umbrella I can only be out maybe 30 min and i have to stop. preferably I would like a cabana or bed under a huge canopy with water misting fans. yes, in a perfect world where I'm rich and can demand these things. royal Caribbean ships have these on their private island but i think they are 500 dollars or something like that

I did better on night snackng last night. I had my evening snack then had decaf coffee rest of night if i felt like i wanted to eat. back on it.

today's food:

b: coffee coffee water

cheese egg white low carb tortilla

l: either a shake OR a chicken stir fry

s: iced coffee with carbmaster choc milk

d: either chicken pot pie (no top) or chicken stir fry

s: TBD

I used some old methods to keep me from Snacking as well yesterday. Mid afternoon I really wanted cheese and crackers and I opted for a cup of bouillon. It didn't help on the scale but maybe in the long run.

Good morning all and Happy Tuesday!

Thank you for all the empathy expressed. I find myself hardly motivated to do much of anything right now. I know that I need to be kind to myself at this time. I am anxious about all that needs to be done today but it will get done.

L: Chicken Salad.

D: PP coffee.

Good morning ~ That face! Happy Tuesday! Should be an easy work day, no meetings but a dental consult this afternoon. They are trying to figure out what to do with one of my teeth - a bone graft or implant or both. It would seem the $ amount gets higher every time they toss ideas around. Today I hopefully hear the verdict.

QOTD - I'm Irish. Mom and Dad - both Irish (I even married Irish). I've had some severe burn in my life. We basically lived at the pool or beach in the summer growing up. I eventually tan but it takes forever to get there. I remember using baby oil to tan in Mass, but the sun is very different in CA so when I tried that here, I was a lobster on the very first day. I know I have skin damage, my dad had lots of things removed... Now - I don't spend more than 30 minutes in the sun with out shade and a big hat and of course tons of sunscreen. At the pool these days, I'm rocking a regular miracle suit with a long kimono type cover up and a big hat.

Accountability - great

b- coffee, HB eggs

l- just chicken, salad mix, pickles, chipotle aioli

d- Tritip and beans

s- grape tomatoes, cucumbers w/tajin

Have a great day!

I'm going thru the tooth thing now. I had an extraction/bone graft. then wait 6 month, then saturday the implant.

I would say check around on pricing. The first was huge money and the second place was still huge money but less expensive by a good bit.

I've been with my periodontist and regular dentist for so long I would feel bad doing that! I'm thankful to have dental insurance, but there is still a huge co-pay.

Every now and then I see commercials for full mouth implants. I can't even imagine how bad that process must be based on how difficult it was to get just one implant.

I had a friend from high school basically document his full mouth implant story on FB - it was one fiasco after another. It took him a year and a half. He was miserable, mad and hungry for real food!

I was working with a guy once who was doing his dad's taxes. He said that he could see that all of his inheritance was going to end up being spent for his dad's teeth implants.
