I only posted it yesterday so you didn't miss much:-). Here you go!

yes, this Korean fire chicken, I found the recipe in one of the Milk Street cookbooks and then once I was comfortable with their recipe, I changed it and made it in the crockpot now.

Chicken breasts in the crockpot ; mix soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, gojujang, ginger, crushed red peppers, garlic and a bit of sesame oil, pour over the chicken breasts; cook on high for four hours, low for 2 (my chicken was semi frozen) and it was so so good. You could use whatever cut of chicken you like, I like breasts best but a lot of people like thighs more. I am not a measured but all the sauce ingredients added up to a little over two cups in the measuring cup and it was a 3lb pack of chicken.

I take most meat to the grill for a nice char prior to putting it in the crockpot. Who is Lucy and what's up with your nipples? (Quote from 50 first date) That came to my mind as soon as I read Lucy.

Good morning, everybody!

I posted on the wrong thread yesterday, but I think that I am back in the fold today. It's my son's last day of his sophomore year. He still has finals starting from Friday until a week from today. In any case the school year seemed to fly by. Weren't we heading to Alaska just a few weeks ago?

I am headed to Orlando this morning. I still need to pack, but its only a two day trip, so that shouldn't be too hard. I am looking forward to it being a little warmer than it is here. Next week it is supposed to warm up in Chicago - hopefully for good this time.

We have our meeting at our in house training facility. The food is good and there are plenty of snacks. I actually like that better than going to restaurants every night.

Tonight is my last CASA Board Meeting. I will have to call-in from Florida. I will see everybody at the golf outing, so its not a big deal.

QOTD: I've never had a name for a car.

Breakfast: protein bar

lunch: Plane food

Dinner: steak

Have a great day, all!

I can't believe that school is about to be out for summer! Do they start pretty early in the fall time?

Have a great trip to Florida.
