Happy Tuesday

The week is off to a good start. Yesterday I was scheduled to go to hot yoga again but was told that I couldn't because I got a chemical peel earlier that day (I was told by the person who did the peel). Apparently, no sweating for 48 hours. This is usually not an issue unless I am in hot yoga, so DD and I went for a short hike which was nice to get out. It was a little cold and windy but I warmed up with the hill work. Last weekend I did manage to get my carrots, onions and leeks planted. I was happy about that. Next up is planting some flowers in the yard. My worms came for my inside composting bin. I am amazed at the amount of organic waste produced for the bin. I did manage to go to the composting fair on Saturday in which I did get a free outside compost bin for myself. I plan to get that started this weekend once I mow again.

Today at work I had a 4 hour class on evidence based practice. I have another 3 hour class tonight from 6-9. I will leave early enough to get a workout in before the class.

QOTD: Hmmm, I am not sure what song to sing. I have never done karaoke or been to a place that was having a karaoke night. I agree a song that would get the audience singing would be good so no one is focused on what I sound like! Can't go wrong with a Journey song.

Journey would be a great choice, whether they realize it or not, most people know most of the songs! We're still a few weeks away from outdoor plants here; a friend spent all day Saturday and Sunday planting hers...and then we got a cold wet snow yesterday with another coming tomorrow. Hopefully they survive though!

Is the lead singer still the guy they found on the internet that sounds amazingly like Steve Perry?
